Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

I glance questioningly at Chib as he moves away but say nothing and look out at the sunset.
when the silence grows it becomes awkward.
"So.... thanks alot for the help. where did you learn to be a healer ? you are a healer, right ? and what up with your name ? no offense." i ask awkwardly breaking the awkward silence.
he was so kind to me its the least i could do to be kind back.
i give him a small half smile.
wow, it feels really weird to smile.

as we look out at home, i wait patiently for Chib's reply.
i hear someone else approach.
my nares take a deep breath.

i tense my muscles, my hackles raised, a growl escapes my maw.
"God damn ! cant people just fuckin leave us the hell alone ?" i growl under my breath.
when i turn to glare at her, my breath rushes out of my mouth.
the snow white pelt and glowing sky blue orbs.
shes the spitting image of my sister.
the only one of my pack i could even think about calling a friend.
the only one i was even remotely close to.
a pained look crosses my face and i swipe it away.
a memory has resurfaced, one i never wanted to remember.

i see it now, i relive it.
i watch my sister being killed.
no, not killed, brutally slaughtered.
i come back to the here and now and find im staring at this fae.
i look to Chib, giving him the deciding answer.
i can tell shes like me, a kindred spirit if you will, out of place and lost.
i know how that felt, how that feels.
im not gonna be all buddy buddy and open up to her right away or anything but i could see us becoming friends.
friends.
do i even know what that word means ?
do i know what a friend is ?
well all i know for sure is that i could use some friends, whatever they are.
