‘That remains to be seen.’

Gyfero watched the emerging femme with emotionless eyes. Perhaps she spoke the truth, perhaps she was no threat. She certainly didn’t look it but he knew better than to immediately let his guard down. It didn’t stop him taking in her lush white fur, those emerald eyes… He had never seen another look so clean, so fresh. White fur usually became so discoloured with dirt he couldn’t help but be slightly impressed. Then he narrowed his eyes. So much for not letting his guard down but it had been so long since he’d conversed with another wolf outside of his family unit.

Taking a step across the grass covered with fallen leaves, Gyfero made his way slowly towards her. A few paces short he stopped, sitting on his haunches with his tail flat behind him.

‘I don’t think I recognise you. What’s your name? I’m Gyfero.’

Of course he didn’t recognise her. He’d have remembered a wolf like her, yet he hoped his question wasn’t as awkward as it had sounded to him. Why now did he feel so reserved, of all things? That wasn’t like him. Raising his head, keeping a stiff-backed posture Gyfero waited to see what the female would do. Would she stay at his approach or leave?

ooc: Sorry for taking soooooo long x.x
