Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

R I O
when God is gone, and the Devil takes hold
He recognized her scent immediately, and had turned his gaze from Tamlin to find the source- Soul. With posture perking upwards slightly, Rio found a subtle, timid smile gracing his maw as he watched her make her way over. It was obvious she knew Tamlin was the Alpha here, but still Soul made it a point to keep close to Rio- most likely because he was the only one she knew. Shifting his own bulk so that he was seated closer to her, he wished to reach out and comfort her but decided to allow her to make her introduction first. It seemed it almost.. harmed her, or pained her to submit to Tamlin the way she did, and yet the full effect and honesty of it had Rio proud of her. Would she really stay here in Bright Moon and remain his friend? But then the boys thoughts wandered to Raylen and an involuntary shudder coursed through his frame. What would happen when the two came face to face- would there be blood shed or simply more broken hearts? The red head wasnt left long to contemplate before more and more wolves began to make their appearance. A wolf he knew to be Wolftail had brought a straggler from the borders, to which Rio dipped his maw in greeting and observation. It was always good to know that the pack was being active and actively recruiting members- especially upon the border where much activity was needed. After all- what else was to keep other wolves from storming in and taking away their home? The next wolf that entered the clearing had Rios attention from the start. She walked with an air of grace about her, as well as respect directed toward the main wolf she was focusing on- Tamlin, of course.

Watching her closely, he soon learned her name to be Twilight to which he stored mentally for later use. Continuing to gaze upon her with intense citrine eyes, Rio was hopeful to catch the ladys gaze before giving her a gentle nod of acceptance as well as welcome- while it was mainly Tamlins job as Alpha to accept and welcome new members of the pack, Rio did hold rank and wished to show just how loyal those beneath the dark coloured male could be. At the thought of such a thing, Rio once more found his mind wandering to none other than Raylen- his scent seemed just as faint as Rios had been, had he left when Satowra had as well? The thought saddened him that his near brother had left, and he contemplated on when and if he would come back. Would he even want to? And with the new addition of Soul at that.. Rio wasnt sure exactly how Ray would react; especially knowing that Soul and Rio had met, and the red head hadnt done anything to defend Raylen. This was mostly because he did not know what had happened between the two- all he knew was that Ray seemed quite heartbroken and the most he could do was assume it was by the hand of Soul. But regardless- both of the wolves happened to be close to Rio, and he wouldnt know what to do if ever confronted by the both of them. With a sort of mental sigh, the boy turned his attention away from the new female and back toward the girl at his side- Soul. Without saying anything, he had leaned over to gently nuzzle his muzzle against her scruff in hopes of soothing her nerves about being where she was and doing what she was doing. Could two broken halfs really make a whole?

Not that Rio was even looking to complete the fractured part of him- it was more so him thinking about the way Soul herself was broken. He wanted to fix her and help her be happy and smile again, but he wasnt sure if he would ever be able to really accomplish that. Not allowing the gesture to drag on too long, Rio abruptly pulled away, but not before gracing Soul with a gentle smile that seemed to read, cheer up, chum, it will all be okay in the end.. After slightly settling his mind and resuming a comfortable position beside Soul, and across from Tamlin, he found his gaze once more on the Alpha. Curious to what would come next, he allowed his mellow voice to slip forth in a sort of subtle murmur- meant for Tamlins audits only, and perhaps for the females that were perhaps lingering by. Whats on the agenda for today, Tamlin?

who'll have mercy on my soul
