This Dream Turned Nightmare... - " />

Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

Sage River Lykoi
This was really against the girl's nature, but the long yearning for a pack was literally tearing her heart out. The young adult female padded silently through the copse of trees, mumbling to herself in protest, but her tri-colored pillars still kept her going. Shaking her crania, she wondered if they would even want someone as shy as herself. She knew that most pack's need members, they were the vital structure. Noises to the west made her audits flick to the direction. She heard voices. Before the femmina could do anything or even think, her slender legs were propelling her with great speed to the source of the lyrics she heard. Her speed decresed to a steady trot, her ears went back in a subconcious display, she didn't really know what to do. For most of her life, she had been a loner, a wanderer a nomad. Bright Moon had been a long decided choice. The girl had heard of the kindred alpha Tamlin. She searched for a family, and this was the only way that the wolfess could think of one.

When she approached the group, she stayed behind the border until the alpha called her over, Sage knew that trespassing was rather rude and looked disaprovingly on. Sage managed a shy smile at the nearest wolf, in this case an ivory male who the girl thought might be the alpha by how his head was high and tail like a scorpion's. Her lyrics were soft and very feminine, quiet but audible enough for one to hear. Excuse me, I'm Sage. I'm a loner as you can probably see. I've come to join Bright Moon. when her kissers closed, she lowered her light colored belly to the ground, a hopeful look on her palette. She would get up when Tamlin asked her, she was so nervous though.

Memories of her past flooded her vision, those horrendous nights left alone with her father. Sage was the youngest in the Lykoi pack, her older siblings had left to go find a mate and a different pack. Sage's mother had died when she was birthing Sage. The girl's father was the only one, the one subject to his perverted abuse. Every night when she was a teen, he would hold her down and rape her. Sage would always be overpowered by her alpha father. Every single night he would tell her when he was raping her that he was helping her, and if she couldn't grin and bear it, she was weak. All the time after he was done, she would have to go roll in fragrant herbs, disguising her father's scent on her coat. Sage would cry every night. She couldn't get away from him. On the night of her escape, her father had found her and left a huge scar running down her left flank. All she had known was a life of pain. If only it could be replaced with love and happiness.

She shook her head, trying to clear the memories from her mind. They hurt too much. Most of her life, Sage had been Daddy's Little Plaything. As far as Sage River could see, Bright Moon was highly populated. Full of wolves. She hoped that none would be predjudice against her, she was very shy. If the femme got accepted, then her life belonged to Bright Moon, other's lives were in her hands too. This wasn't a time for second thoughts, she was already here. Her submission to Tamlin started. There was no turning back.
