The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.
Explaination

Since i was thinking of claiming this land before absolution did, i thought i would explain my reasoning for being able to claim this land.

There are two things i looked up. In the current laws, under the stallion section: "If the lead stallion of a territory fails to post there in-character for 14 days, all of his mares may go free if they wish and, if his player was not on hiatus during this time, another stallion may claim the territory." Also, regarding being away, this can be found in the inbox forum, under the away section: "You cannot post in character and no one can challenge/steal from you, but you can still post OOC."

The laws do not explicitly state that it has to be 14 in-character days, just 14 [calendar] days from the last post.

Joey was listed as away from september 24th to september 27th. During that time, no one would be able to steal anything from her. However, on the deadline for anubis's post to keep the territory, october 6, 2011 at 01:13:01 am, joey was not listed as away. Because of this, someone would be able to claim this territory as their own.

For comparison, het vuur has not made a post to the arch for over 14 days. However, het vuur's player, shiva, was listed as away before the 14 day deadline, and is still currently away. This makes the arch itself non-claimable, even though the 14 day deadline has passed, since a player cannot steal from a player who is away.

I'm certainly not an experienced player here, nor am i a mod. However, this is my understanding of the current laws. Mods, please correct me if i have made an error in my interpretation of the laws.
