Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

The silence in the air had thickened into something that was fiercely tangible. It was so dense that you could have cut it with a knife. Yet even as it was thick, it also seemed fragile, like a single, gossamer thread of spider silk, stretched until it was near it's breaking point. Quirino had sensed the awkward atmosphere he had caused and allowed himself to gaze coolly into his father's intensely emerald-hued green eyes. His own dark lookers had been calculating and irritatingly calm as he hid away his pain and disguised it. With a great deal of luck, Sniper would think the pup's narrowed eyes had stemmed from annoyance and bitterness rather than the agony that throbbed through his paw. The princeling had watched quietly as his words took effect on the brujo before him. The scarlet Satanican had also cocked his head almost imperceptibly to the side as he scrutinized the environmental factors about him. After he had decided which was the most effective way out he had turned heel and attempted to march away, notwithstanding whatever Sniper was thinking about.

Qui's attempt to walk away hadn't worked so well. That much was evident from his sprawled position. He attempted to rise from his interesting stance and succeeded on the second try. He slammed his red ears against his blood-hued dial as he heard a slightly mocking laugh floating toward him. Quirino raised his lips slightly, his pain momentarily forgotten as he turned his head to shoot a glare back at the chuckling brutus. Shuffling on his three useful stilts, he turned around so as to face the multi-hued warrior. He let a little growl slip from his maw - the meaning of it was clearly 'oh shut up' or something of the sort. Whether his little sound of annoyance was heard and ignored or simply not noticed by the older male was not known to Quirino. Regardless of whatever had transpired on that case, Sniper stepped forward and closed the distance between them with a few large strides before parting his jowls and letting a set of patronizing lyrics ring forth.

"Don't patronize me, jerk."

The little wolf muttered to himself as he watched the other male turn and smoothly walk off.

Although Quirino was stubborn, he wasn't an idiot. He needed to get off of this thrice-cursed cliff. It was obvious that he couldn't do it himself, so the only thing to do would be to follow Sniper. It only took a split second of hesitation before he managed to convince himself that by leaving with his so-called father, he wasn't be submissive, but was actually being a manipulative little brat who was actually using Sniper's affection to escape his situation. Feeling pleased with himself, Quirino began to limp after the elder stag, his teeth gritted against the flaring throb of his ankle.

Ooc: -barfs at post- My Qui muse isn't flowing but I said I'd get him coughed out today....
