Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

Loneliness, sorrow, pain...

I watched the cliff with wide, excited eyes, as if I expected the thing move... Ha. I decided to climb it, of course. What pup wouldn't? Plus... God, I don't know why I was so obsessed with it... But I knew I had to find Rueben. I had to. He was my general, and I needed him! He was always more loving then my mother... That cheater. If I could have choosen, I would have been more arctic then timber. But I was very sadly cursed with my mother's timber/gray wolf DNA... I placed my paw carefully on a flat paw-hold, testing it to be sure it wouldn't collapse beneath my weight. I knew why I had come here. And it wasn't because the rainbow was so amazing. No, only those wolves who knew me personally knew what my 'father' meant to me. I climbed another few feet, and some more until I reached a flatter part of the cliff. I smiled as I saw the sunlight, then... I froze. I hadn't seen the wolvs, but the voice... It was screaming at me.
'IDIOT! Do you not see them?! Two wolves!! Hide, dummy, hide! They'll kill you, and that means I'll DIE! This world can't survive without me!'
I snarled. I wished I could smart-mouth it back, but that would just cause conflict.

I looked around, my orbs finally landing on a patch of grasses under the shade of a huge pine. I shrugged and darted into them. I hadn't seen the dried leaves, and as soon as I penetrated the grasses, the horrid crackling of leaves sounded. I whimpered. I knew they heard me. I sighed and walked out.
I can't keep hiding from the wolves I don't know! What does that make Rueben think of me...? I watch the couple, my eyes searching their actions. One looks as if she were to jump, the other acting sweetly on her, trying to stop her it seems. I watch intensly, my stormy-gray eyes peircing the stillnes of the air.
