Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

R I O
when God is gone, and the Devil takes hold
Upon Tamlin’s arrival, Rio found his lips curling upwards into a rather content smile as he dipped his jaw down slightly in respect for his Alpha. It wasn’t soon before he announced his wish to be told what he could do to help, but it seemed no one really knew. The other female in the clearing, whose name was Skyscraper, seemed hell bent on telling everyone what to do- even as far as telling all the males to step back. Lowering his muzzle to the ground slightly, he kept his stance continuously rather close to the birthing female- he had simply pulled back from nudging the nape of her neck with his muzzle, but he had not yet moved back. Rio felt a protective feeling surge through him for the strange female, and was glad she had not reacted badly to his comforting gesture. She could have easily attacked him and dug canines into flesh, but luckily she had not. Instead, she seemed rather at a loss for what to do, and that was all fine by the red head- as long as she wasn’t feeling threatened he was happy. Skyscraper had introduced him, with the title of Gamma male. This was actually news to him, and he merely glanced at Tamlin for a moment before returning his attention to the female before him. He had not noted if she stated her name or not, but he didn’t think she did, nor would he ask her for it. Now was not the time to exchange such pleasantries, but instead to focus on her and keep her safe for the time being. Granted she wasn’t pack- but she was a damsel in distress and that’s all the excuse Rio needed.

Turning his bright gaze down on her, he observed quietly as she seemed to strain herself; only to bring her first little one into the world. A tender smile crossed the boys’ facial expression as he continued to watch her, going about her Motherly duties. Gazing upon the little one, both scent and sight telling him it’s a girl, he seemed to almost murmur in audibly to himself. “She’s beautiful..” Suddenly aware of what he said, if Rio had the ability to blush his cheeks would be flushed the brightest of scarlets, but his only reaction was to swivel his audits back a bit to pin against his skull- but still he could not keep his gaze away from the Mother and daughter duo, though he was sure there were more to come, if not many then at least one more. The female seemed to grace everyone present with a gentle smile after she had cleaned up her first and resumed the laying position as she strained once more, eager to get the deliveries over with. Rio understood this- after all, she was on the very border of a unknown pack surrounded by unknown wolves- but something about the female made Rio wish she were staying. It would be nice to have another comrade, something he might even know within the pack. And then the russet boy realized just why he was feeling this way- the female reminded him of Satowra though he couldn’t figure out why. Soul, one of his newest friends hadn’t reminded him of his late Alpha- but the girl in front of him did. Why was that? Rio himself couldn’t figure out, but there was only one way to do so- wait around to figure it out for himself.
who'll have mercy on my soul
