Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

Tamlin was calm, but sheer calm was hardly what would help the situation. To tell the truth, he had never seen a birthing in his life, and to be painfully honest yet again, he had not one clue what he was supposed to be doing to help the she wolf who was laying on his borders, gripped in her labour pains, unable to escape from them however much she may or maynot have wanted to. The snowy alpha guessed that for the moment he had done the best he could do. That was his current actions. He stood back and waited for someone to instruct him on something productive he was supposed to do. Where he had been born and raised, males of his species were not permitted to witness a fea giving birth. The conequences weren't unbearably serious, but everyone complied anyway, as it was a tradition that ran back as far as anyone in the pack could remember. However, due to his current situation, Tamlin almost wished that he had broken the law and flirted with the taboo - at least that way he would have a vague idea of something, anything, helpful to do...

He flicked his cream hued harks and turned to listen to Rainwhisper. She is the only wolf in the space, other than Rio, but since the rouge-headed stallion was being his usual airy fairy self, whatever ideas that he had weren't forthcoming. So Tamlin, not expecting any guidance from his gamma, turned to the blueish gal and listened as she began to issue orders. His banner twitched and his lips curved in an amused smirk for a moment at how her aura changed as she became more empowered. He didn't let his amused facial stay, instead making sure it faded after a split second of it's arrival. "Rasberry leaves?" His voice was as quiet and assertive as always, and, also as always, the peaceful lilt persisted. He wondered if their was any difference between a raspberry, which he had seen growing around the forest and even sampled once or twice, and a rasberry. Hopefully not. His serious blue eyes followed her movements as she pointed a three leafed stem out from the ground and instructed him that it was a rasberry asked him if he knew of any large growths of them. They obviously were different, by the looks of things... The difference between those small things and the tangled bushes of raspberries were extremely obvious. He bent down and touched his cool nose to the plant, taking in it's odor. "These don't grow in patches here. Just every now and again you spot one, like in this case." His lyrics spell out what his mind had deduced a moment before.

After a moment that seems a dramatic pause the red hessian, Demon Moon, is back with news of a large cave. Although no expression shows on Tamlin's skillfully blank palate, his internal face holds a wistful smile. He remembers that cave, and also remembers a night spent there as beta male, before the many responsibilities of alphaship came to smash down on him. A pair of pristine, navy lookers scan Demon, noticing how nervous he seems and the way his forehead is creased in anxiety. If Tamlin had been in a less tense mood, he would have bestowed a joking comment upon the male in an (probably failed, knowing his limited skill with jokes...) attempt to cheer him up. Needless to say, however, the white stag didn't get a chance to comment, as his attentions quickly shifted from Demon Moon to the pregnant ess that the whole ruckus.

She breaths out a set of words about how she is fine and how she had an appointment that she needed to get to. Privately, Tamlin offered up a dry mental comment before actually speaking. "Perhaps you could stay here until you are ready to leave, Miss?" His words are courteous to the extreme, gentle in their flowing cadences. He seems to be correct in assuming that she isn't going to get far, as after a weak scrabble, her multi-toned bodice flopped, defeated, back to the soil. He lowered his silken furred rump to the ground in a sit and decided to wait out the birthing, as he doubts that anything anyone could do at this point to help. The first pup, a squirming, white bundle of new life, appeared into the world, swaddled in it's birthing sack. The sack itself shone due to it's dampness, reflecting the light of the rising sun. Tamlin flicked his expressive auditives and allowed himself a curious glance at the tiny varg, who would likely grow up to be a great wolf... someday. He listened to Rio as he breathed the words that everyone observing was probably thinking: 'she's beautiful'.

He had been somewhat mesmerized by the coming of new life, so he had been guilty of ignoring his warriors. One of which wasn't too pleased about that. He twisted his apex rapidly around to see Rainwhisper turn heel and stalk away with the righteous indignation of an angered goddess. His eyes widened in a mixture of exasperation and disbelief. He wasn't going to follow her and kiss her paws until she forgave them, so he turned and schooledly ignored the femme as she made her huffy exit. A drifting wind brought the vague sound of what might have been a snarl to his ears after she had been gone for a while. The passing sound had been too faint for him to be sure, but he guessed that Rainwhisper had made the noise. What a pain... He hoped she would eventually find it in that heart of hers to forgive them all. He had quite enjoyed the girl's company and didn't want to lose her alliance over something stupid like this. He kept his main attentions fixated upon the essa before him, but he still noticed the scarlet vampire's quiet slipping away into the underbrush. Tamlin turned his head to watch him go before turning and allowing his half exasperated, half amused tones to float through the atmosphere. "Did you say something, or was it me? Or is that normal behaviour?" He sighed long and loud, shutting his eyes for a moment before focusing back on the duo before him.
