Feathers is an unusual dog, even for the variety of wayside mutts he'd met on his way here. He is short and thin with a brown brindled coat. His eyes are dark, though clearly contain an exceptional amount of emotion. His ears are large and rounded to catch sound as well as cool air, a definitive disadvantage in frigid winter air, such as now. The weather has warmed significantly, proven to have little effect on the snow still layered freshly on the frozen ground, though.

As he stands, trembling, he hears a peculiar noise. He stops, a deer in headlights, his entire frame stiffening to fall into a defensive stance. A shape appears in a the near distance and he is, instead, intrigued by this new figure.

He is astounded by the ravishing female, as pale and white as the snow that littered the ground a short while ago, reflecting to make her, impossibly so, whiter. At first, he is speechless, succumbing the cold to shift his weight and catch more of her stunning image. He anxiously lifts a paw, eager to step forward to greet the lovely girl. However, he refrains, transfixed in place and yearning for communication.

The gods receive his pleas. The female moves closer, closing his fragile body from the swift breezes that threaten to knock him off of his feet. He is grateful, his muscles tightening as he pulls a smile across his stout face. His long tail wags rapidly, ecstatic by this stranger's infinite kindness.

"T-t-thank you." It is all he can mutter, still shocked by the lady's concern. Shivers rack his body as he prances towards her, his mouth hangs ajar as he pants. Indicating he is ready to follow, he gives her an questioning glance, making sure to create eye contact. His banner never ceases to wave.
