((Continued with Hayazo))

Elias smiled at his words about being a saint. But to the mostly white male, he was exactly how he described. It was all thanks to Hayazo that he started living and not hiding with his mother. It was also thanks to Hayazo that he had found Aska’s egg and raised her. There was so much to be thankful to Hayazo for, and Elias wasn’t sure how he could ever repay him for it all. Being a good friend forever, staying by his side no matter what sounded like a good idea, but would that really be paying him back or did Elias just want to be with him? The brute shook his head mentally again, those thoughts bothered him. He wondered what his family would think of that and it scared him slightly. They wouldn’t accept that. It wasn’t normal.

These flurry of emotions almost blocked out the second part of what the grey teen had said. He nodded a bit absently, a strange look on his maw from the thoughts that were still plaguing his mind. His pale gold eyes finally brightened as he was nudged by Elias, he felt a sort of jolt strike through his body, making it tingle and feel numb. It was all very strange. He didn’t know what love felt like really but he was sure it wasn’t right to feel this way towards his own gender. “I- uh, Yeah.” He started uncertainly looking wistfully at Hayazo, before going on, “Yeah, it does rain a lot, my mother likes rain though. It’s probably why she choose to live there. Dreary suits her.”

Elias’ eyes shot away from Hayazo then, he wondered if he should try and tell him how he felt, but something told him the grey brute wouldn’t feel the same, and with that would destroy this relationship that they held now. That more than anything scared Elias. He didn’t want to lose Hayazo, for him he would have to try and be normal to keep their friendship at the very least. The songs of birds fell slightly on deaf ears, they didn’t make him feel relaxed as they normally would have, just more tense like he had an audience listening to him. Sometimes bird gossip was the worst. Especially crows, Elias just didn’t like those mean black things. He digressed slightly…

Hayazo’s next words did indeed make him have a larger smile on maw, though it was wiped away slightly. “Hayazo, I-“ He paused not sure if he should continue on or stop where he was. He was going to try and say something about how he felt, but knew inside the thoughts from before would come true. Or at least Elias thought they would. His eyes went back to Hayazo’s blue optics again this wistful look in them. Then sighed and looked away. He couldn’t say it, in fact he was frozen now, he didn’t feel like he could say anything at all.
