Even if the proceedings had not... well, proceeded... Vingi wouldn't have minded. He would have been perfectly content to sit on the wrong side of the border and banter with these two pack wolves until the sun went out or he died of starvation due to too much bantering and not enough hunting... whichever happened first. He was having a spectacular time trading words with the wolfess Llorana and the tri-colored teen who called himself Nikandros. Whether or not his comment on how he 'was cute' should have been taken seriously or not was unknown even to Vingi himself. Honestly, due to the number of infatuated females that had chased, dovey-eyed, after him, he obviously wasn't that bad looking, he still hadn't exactly looked in the mirror, and, even if he had, he wasn't the sort to make that sort of judgement about himself. Truth be told, the charcoal male, although handsome, was not very conceited about his appearance. The reason he had added to his so called worthiness by mentioning his looks was just to poke a bit of fun at the serious-faced lass as well as to cause the tension to lower a bit. It had worked, as now the situation that the muscled boy found himself in was one that went perfectly well with his sense of humor. The way the conversation had turned, it seemed as if his acceptance into the fabled Malignant Felicity, a pack of 'killers' depended totally upon how sexy he was.

Vingi wasn't the sort of babbling idiot who ran his mouth all day for no apparent reason. After all of his wolf watching, he had reached the conclusion that he had a very low opinion on the fools who couldn't contain themselves enough to shut up for one second. For the first little while of watching them, he was amused, but after about five minutes, they became monotonous and irritating to listen to. Since it would have been hypocritical to unhinge his jaw and let it flap loosely in the wind after making negative mental statements about big-talking scum, he preferred to lurk fairly quietly, not exactly silently, as it was a rare conversation that he he did not indulge in the occasional well-placed, cool remark. Currently, he had sensed it was the time to keep his trap shut and listen, so keep it shut he did, respectfully keeping his emerald eyes glued on Niko's chest area due to the fact that it seemed as if the youngster was about to speak. As he did so, al his glance repeatedly strayed toward Llorana, keeping tabs on the other wolf around him out of habit. She also listened to the teen's honeyed words. Vingi couldn't help but like the spunky youngsters languidly bold actions, from the smirk and wink that had been thrown his way earlier to the way that he had daringly circled around behind the dark stag's hindquarters before throwing himself aristocratically into the conversation.

The white she-wolf's questioning lyrics put him back into the trading of words again. He smirks, the curve of his facial turning his otherwise expression-devoid face into something that certainly qualified as considerably cute. “They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, no?” His silken words slipped from his maw as eloquently as was the norm with Vingi, which was to say, with extreme eloquence and grace. He didn't talk to much, but when he did, he made it worthwhile. He had sensed the curtness beneath the teasing tone to Llorana's tone, and, being the intuitive boy he was, continued to play the situation on face value, as seemed the best thing to do. All three of the wolves seemed to be enjoying themselves at least a bit, although Vingi could only really speak for a third of the population – himself. She spoke again after a moment, this time to Niko alone, and although Vingi's wry grin did not tug itself over his face, the slight twinkle in his gorgeous, almond shaped greens and the fact that his stance was both relaxed and alert made it obvious that he was amused slightly by her patronizing tones.

Niko's reply, no matter how lovely and sarcastic it was, no longer was an object of focus when the sapphire-gemmed maiden spoke once more, her playful tones sallying forth once again, caressing his pitch auditives and welcoming him into the pack until Queens could come and give the final say on whether or not he was worthy. He counted this as a major victory (yay, now he could go meet all the crazy wolves!), but still wasn't impertinent enough to step over the border until they had moved enough so any motion of his would be following them. He cocked his head to the side a tiny amount, pondering her words, so, as soon as she concluded her sentence and a reasonably moment of silence followed, his words cascaded from his muzzle yet again. “If Mr. Nikandros does not mind my intrusion, I would be honored to take the tour.” He still is not on the correct side of the border to make eye contact with the girl, so he avoids her state, averting his pretty lookers as to not meet her stare in a way that would seem rude.
