The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

Several months had passed since Bleeding Nights had last been called a pack member. Despite her less than angelic upbringing, she had made a home for a short time within the borders of Spring Grounds. While their alphas believed in mercy and kindness and other such things foreign to Nights, they were still very capable leaders and that was what was important to the ebony wolf for the time. However, since Fell and Larka had left, the pack's authority had fallen very unsatisfactory for a she-wolf who had very high standards. She had detected this and subsequently left the pack almost immediately after it had changed hands over to the new monarchs. These last several months mostly consisted of research, both using her own skills of getting information found out, and making use of the sources that Demonica had placed in Blossom Forest. Nothing but the best for her bloodline. For a while most of the packs were either undynamic in their development or were crumbling at the foundation. She had no desire to be an alpha at this point, so she instead continued to bide her time. The packs that were stale but stable were less in her targets seeing that while nothing was happening with them, they weren't as in need of new management. It was the crumbling packs, the packs that were falling apart that her mismatched eyes persistently watched. While Saw Tooth had never been in her sights, she took note that a brother from a younger litter was awarded title of alpha. Just the same it was rumored her brother of her age was back around after having abandoned Abendrot. It was never a surprise when she heard of family on the move. Demonica wolves had a way of doing that.

Her limbs worked at an unfaltering tempo. A robotic wolf would envy her movements. Nights' muscles were all toned against a strong, athletic feminine figure. Her black pelt was pure as a starless night, and appeared inky as it seemed to reflect the sun in a healthy glow. The only interruption to such perfect blackness were four paws the color of blood, which halted when they reached the border of a pack. This was neither Saw Tooth or Abendrot. It was a pack that she had infact been watching, and very recently it had been taken over by a promising leader. Most would wonder why such a selective wolf had not given this 'promising leader' the time to prove himself. Be sure not only the potential but the stability was there. If she had not been feeling the pressure to get into another pack, that's probably exactly how she would have treated this. Mismatched blue and green eyes peered into a heavily forested territory. The trees were so thick that they came together as what could be described as a canopy over head. There were also plenty of trails and ways to sneak around, especially at night when the shadows took over for the sunlight. It was a very appealing place, and would probably right away suit her better than Spring Grounds had her entire stay there. There were many wolves in the air when she tested it. Many were probably new, flocking at the chance of impressing an alpha who no doubt was resetting all ranks. Young, power hungry fools … she had long ago taken note, there were a lot of those in Blossom Forest. It was rare that a challenger was worth the teeth of the alpha they challenged.

Not a fan of wasting time, Bleeding Nights lifted her skull towards the skies. As she directed her head up, she took a large breath deep into her lungs. When in positing, she released the song that was universal in the wolf world. It didn't matter where the wolf was raised, as long as it wasn't a mute it knew how to howl. Actually, from what she'd seen before mute wolves even knew how, they just did it without the sound. The familiar song, pitched in the unique flavor of her voice, began on a throaty note and soon was swooping through the scales until she was releasing nearly a soprano flow against the crisp autumn air. After holding out a high note for a few seconds, Nights settled in a midtone range, and then ended it on the low octave note before decrescendoing down to the point of only an echo riding wind to anyone's ears within range. Feeling that her howl had fulfilled its purpose in alerting the pack authorities of her presence, the female lowered her head back down to a neutral level. Her body language read that of a neutral wolf. Not dominant nor submissive over anything. However, she would place herself into a more submissive position without hesitation, given the arrival of an alpha. It wasn't so much that she wished to rush into bowing before another, but being raised as she was, respecting those above you was always at the forefront of any formal pack actions. Her senses were immediately and studiously on the look out; eyes continuously sweeping the area, nose constantly checking for any new fragrances nearby, and ears perked at attention to catch any stray sound.
