I Keep Fighting Against God - " />

Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

She was just about to sit when a scent hit her ebon radar and made her turn, ivories bared. She was no subtle demon, and the message she was sending could've been understood by even the ravens that circled overhead. You better not try anything funny, because they were on the top of a freaking cliff and it was a long way to the forest. A long way. But the newcomer, a fellow teen and a fellow fae, didn't even seem to noticed the femora's presence. She simply peered over her edge of the cliff, then breathed heavily and perched herself beneath the outstretched fingers a tree. The sight shocked Bouki. What was this wolf, senseless? Were her ears plugged with the resin she had sometimes sighted seeping out of a maple? Or was she plainly stupid? It took a second before the mottled teen was once again about to move, and when she did she stepped lightly over the rocky terra. What was she gonna do? Obviously she couldn't just leave; she had wanted to savor her time on top of the world a little more before being forced off. Was nature expecting her to simply watlz up to the lass and strike up a conversation as if she were a caring and interesting individual? The teen snorted lightly. Well then, there was only one option left, wasn't there? This would be a perfect victim.

Snickering joyfull to herself, Bouki snuck up on the new wolf, surveying the area. Her pads fell silently upon the earth beneath, soft black pillows of flesh hiding her approach as nature had designed them to. She had grown close, near enough for her sage orbs to see the details of the teen's flank, but fate would not be on her side, as it had not since the day of her birth. All those times where her luck had failed her flooded back into the ess's mind. Falling inside the cave and straining her ankle on the watery stone below, slipping into a flooding ditch with her now deceased brother at her side, nearly being trampled by a herd of deer when her curiosity got the better of her. Maybe the planets had aided in her survival, since she was here now wasn't she? But the fae could only see it as misfortune and the world began to displease the selfish vix. In another show of cruel treatment, the wind decided to blow from behind the demon's frame, directing her scent directly to her prey like the feathers on the end of an arrow. Profanities slipped from her maw like coal as she gave up her aproach, starting and lowering her silhouette to the ground, skull whipping from side to side as she scouted for a place to hide. Wtih any luck she could sprint to a nearby structure and conceal her multi-hued frame until the fellow teen went back to sleep or left, but we all know how luck had been treating her recently. Finding nothing significant, she only had the choice of hiding behind the cliff itself. She rushed to the edge, giving up her stealthy ways in favor of pure speed, and quickly spied a small plataeu a few lengths down. Without letting her choice fully process, she leapt off the rock, landing squarely on her destination. But the edge beneath one of her fores was hollow on the bottom and the platform swiftly proceeded to fall away. More profanities, and a near slip for the young Bouki. Thankfully she managed to regain her footing before her shoulders made it over the edge and she backed up, leaning against the cool cliff-face that she knew would not yeild. Her breath came in huge gulps, pools trained on the treetops miles upon miles in the distance, barely visable below a layer of fog. Surely the teen had heard her mishap, or seen her frame before she plummeted off the cliff, and her plan would be foiled. Shit.

Finally calming down enough to glance up, Bouki searched for any movement. In truth, she wasn't sure what she was going to do to this fae, but no creature enjoyed the failure of an operation. She prayed to Tor that the strangely colored teen hadn't stirred from her place beneath the tree. Waiting a few seconds, and deciding a better view was necessary, the tan dyed femme made her way up the side of the cliff to another landing a few inches higher, hoping it would be enough to grant her visibility of the top. After a moment of experimentation, she found she could, but only after stretching her neck and pistons to their absolute farthest. It certainly wasn't comfortable, but it would have to do. Tentivaly, she peered over the edge, lookers searching for the tree and her victim. If the coast was clear and things were as she had left them, she was accend to the top and try once more, hopefully coming up with a good enough plan in the span of time. If not... well, she'd take it from there. Bouki had never prided herself in being the best thinker, as her mind was primed for adventure and surviving by the skin of her claws.

OOC: You're pefectly fine, I understand the process. :)
