Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

I am just the slightest bit confused as I stare at the silver-based, rugged looking female shake in front of us. She looks unsure and vulnerable and something within me, the kind side, wants to help her. I cock my head to the side lightly, eyes narrowed a bit as she speaks. Her eyes are so filmy and lack a distinct color. Hazed and encased in fog, the irises still manage to keep expression. Her words are hopeless and now I feel sympathy wrap itself around my heart. I nod and am thoughtful for a few heartbeats. These silent moments seem to dawn upon us ever heavier. "You are safe here," I tell her, voice soft but fierce. My teal eyes flash as I take a step away from Misty and a step closer to the newcomer. "And I do care. On the outskirts of the pack you will be able to find, ah, Romance River." My nose wrinkles a bit. "Despite its name there is more use there than it seems. The waters are pure and you may be able to wash there to fend off sickness. And if you need help with that then ask anyone, I'm sure they wouldn't mind helping." I roll my supple shoulders and then step back.

I do not say her name for fear of stumbling over its many syllables. "I think I'll begin to call you by shorthand. Kit," I chuckle, my lighthearted attempt to make the mood less tense. She begins to paw at her face and my smile fades. My expression becomes that of worry, especially when she gives up with a curse. I glance back at Misty and watch as she, too, looks perplexed and crumpled, and then back to Kitsaiyanna. "What's happened?" Because I'm unable to decipher her problem. Just as I'm unable to decipher those of everyone else.
