Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

My question is not meant to be offensive nor frightening. Perhaps it came that way - I see that the pup is slightly uncomfortable - but I've learned through prior experiences that a pup being alone anywhere, especially Blossom, is incredibly unsafe. Half of the population seems to have something against our newer generation, something that I find rather absurd. It's lucky that this particular female ended up on the borders of our pack instead of a pack with... the darker lupines of our world within its borders. I hope my eyes convey their apologies better than words may. Even now, wandering through the darkness of Bright Moon's deepest forests, I am fearing for her safety even if it's only danger from herself and not an outside source. I know how agonizing a broken leg can be.

I haven't used this den in far, far too long. There is almost never any time I can sleep and when I do, it's beneath the stars where I can yowl out my displeasure over my dreams - no, nightmares - without having my pain-filled sounds ricocheted straight back into me. When I ask my questions quickly, without softening the blow per say, I see how it's affected her. She looks towards the ground, shifts lightly, before answering. I suck in a deep breath fast. So she's been traveling alone? She doesn't even have anyone to return to? I glance towards the ground as well, listening to Misty's soft reassurances. I am no parent, I am just a pack wolf. Silently I thank the Fates that the ivory girl is here with us.

Her name is Journey. "That's... terrible. I'm very sorry," I answer, apologizing not only for her loss but for myself, putting her in a position to refresh her sorrows. "If you'd wish it, you can certainly stay here... I'm sure Tamlin wouldn't mind," I murmur. Our king is serious, not cruel. He wouldn't turn away someone in need, would he?
