Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

She looks incredibly horrified and apologetic even, something which makes mirth swell up within me tenfold. Misty is far more fearful of me than I'd like. She looks shocked, then suspicious, and then soft. What a tumult of emotions within the space of only a few moments inside of a single wolf. I grin at her words although I'm not so sure it's a completely happy grin. Looking back out over the landscape, I contemplate her words for a minute. "We'd be no one without our stories, I suppose," I sigh finally, words heavier than I'd meant them to be.

Misty's next words bring forth the sting in the still raw wounds of my heart. I go completely still and silent, eyes frozen in some mixture of hurt and anger - though not anger at the ivory girl, only at Soul - and something like... relief. Slowly, I blink. One, two, three times. Once for every heartbeat. And then I let out a breath I didn't know I'd been holding all in one whoosh, and I can look back at her ducked face again. "She..." I start, then trail off. "She didn't completely leave me, not exactly. I think we left each other. But I know that-that..." I stumble over the last word, take another deep breath, and continue speaking. "I know that I hurt more than she does. Than she ever did."

Our silences are no longer awkward but rather, easy. Comfortable and safe, like home. It should be like this with a packmate, always. Misty smiles softly and turns towards me, making my ears prick lightly in curiosity. "Bright Moon is quite unique," I say, and then think before responding to her next words. How should I speak without saying arrogant? "I've never really been in other packs. First it was just Soul and I in Casteon"--here my eyes grow broken in hurt as I speak her name--"and now it's Bright Moon. I understand where some of them are coming from, I suppose. It's your pack and they are your brothers and sisters and occasionally more than friends. Naturally you'd feel a little wary," I continue. "But ours is a very... open pack. We're not close-knit in the way other groups are. We want other wolves to join in our happiness." And then, just to ease the tension a bit, I laugh under my breath. "But there's also the fact that Tamlin's a little too serious for his own good and I should probably make up for that fact."
