Ankh had followed Courant back to the jungle, keeping pace and holding her head high. She feels nearly complete, having the Valkyries back in motion, and her priorities straight. She is even bringing Eclipse into the jungle. Granted, he will be bear the brand slave, but he will be with her, and they can start a new what they had begun a long time ago. Her life is falling into place, and she is ready to start the long journey that is the Valkyries.
The scent of the jungle is something that she had missed greatly in the time that she had been gone. The flood had done a great deal of damage to the place. The trees had been drown, but vibrant green foliage had managed to remain. The remnants of tropical reefs cling to the rocky edges of the waterfall, resistant to the idea that they have been evicted. Interesting to know that there remains are the new decorations to the beloved landmark.
Ankh's attention is brought forth by Courant's words. A new queen shall be nominated, interesting. She knows that she has no chance to even make an argument here, and she doesn't know who else here would make a good queen. She knows that Sasha has experience in this matter, and so far the blanketed mare is the only one here who seems to be capable of carrying on such a title. No one else in this new Valkyrie group seems to have put in the time it would take.
Her emerald gaze snaps to Verily, her brazen attitude something that could have been left out of this happy moment. How could someone be so disrespectful to a God. A being of power, who has the capability to snuff you out in the blink of an eye. Her bold moves and sharp words are most unwelcome, and Ankh can't help but find it strange that the mare would even consider herself a sister here without putting a little faith into the matron Goddess who OVERSEES them. There is something truly wrong here. No, she can not be allowed the thrown here. Not in Ankh's mind.
However, Verily nominates Sasha for the throne, and all at once Ankh is a bit confused. Though, it is clear that you can not nominate yourself, she can't help but note that she didn't really make an argument for herself. Ankh couldn't imagine why anyone else here would want to nominate the non-believer.
Ankh hears the speech, and offers up her two scents,
"I don't see why the Rajputs would be a threat. It isn't like we have anything they want. I know that Paduan is the God that sways them, but what do we have they could possibly want just yet. We don't pose a threat to them, so why are they so worried about us?"
Ankh knows nothing more than that Paduan has attacked a mare. Courant never mentioned that it was Tick Tock, and the only other thing that Ankh remembers is that Courant is rather pissed at the fire god. She doesn't know anything about what has happened to make all of this possible.
