During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Devil might have been a bit bitchy, but damn how hard was it to answer a simple question these days? Some wolves were just ridiculous giving long answers. If he thought this was just a show, these he was mistaken, Devil wouldn’t be afraid to back it up with fangs. If this demon wanted to be ignorant enough and challenge her to find out, then bring it on, because she would show him in a heartbeat that she doesn’t play. This was her home and pack, and no rift raft loner was going to come and cause trouble. The brute wanted a home and to work for it, her she found no problem with that. But to come along and be ignorant, with her simply trying to correct him and got a disrespectful attitude in return? No, that wasn’t okay, because who was to say he wouldn’t do it to the alpha, and any other ranked wolf, if they had any at the time? That wouldn’t fly with her, and most definitely not Red Star cause Devil’s Angel already knew her queen didn’t tolerate shit.
She wasn’t asking him to submit to her, nor did she even ask for him to pull his ears back.
When he first answered her, her tone and voice was quick like a whip and emotionless.

Ignore me and your ass would have been left to wait by the border, and probably remained there until you left, unless my alphess just happened to come along. And no, you’ve gave more than enough.

Then he spoke again, asking something beyond ridiculous? How many wolves had her come upon that wasn’t always ready for a fight? He sounded so ridiculous when he asked her if she thought he would attack her. Should she really answer him? The ebony and ivory goddess was half temped to just go away now, but she refrained from doing so.

I don’t trust anyone enough not to expect them to maybe at least try. Some have, some haven’t, either way I won’t be the one made a fool. Wait here for my alphess to show.

Like before, she raised her maw to release a howl for Red Star to come when she could. Then she left to move on to the next loner waiting.

Ooc: It might take a little while before Red Star replied, her role player was having some life issues.
