Mourning Mountains

I could feel my heart sink as I thought of the sin I committed, but Rajah's voice chimed to me, I listened to her and she did make me feel better, she lifted my head with her muzzled, like she did not want to see me down, and told me that I had a big heart and that it made me good. This made me smile. She was a true sister figure to me. Thank you Rajah, your words bring happiness to me, I feel like a big weight has been lifted now that I have talked about my past. I always tried to push it away and keep it secret but I guess that only made me feel worse. I am glad you do not see me in a bad way. Thank you so much.

I was surprised how cheered up she made me feel, she soon told me her story, it was sad to me that she was almost killed for something that was not her or her mother's fault. But I am glad it ended good. I smiled at her with sympathetic eyes and followed her to the river. She drank and then splashed me, with a loud laughing neigh she looked at me with playful eyes...my voice boomed sarcastically and I tried not to laugh...Oh yeah?! How dare you defy me with splashes!!! Take this!!! I gathered myself to my haunches and sprang forward into the river, sending water spraying all over myself and Rajah. My laugh boomed so loud I thought the volcano would erupt! I was in a grand mood now. She was truly a beloved sister like figure to me, I felt like I had known her since birth. It was grand. Amarilli on the other hand, she made me feel a love like no other, I felt almost obsessed...but I soon remembered my standing in a river and I nickered to Rajah to join me, the water was not too cold and not hot, it was perfect!
