The tiger moved at a regal pace through the surrounding forest. Matthias was a loner like most of his kin, he didn't take after his fool of a father, Lizard who had long left the mountain. He had tried to take him along, but Matthias' place was here. He didn't know why his father choose to leave, he was certain it had something to do with his more famous mother who was a Gamma of the mountain. She saw that they were not right for one another, two different. He was afraid of being a father and it showed in Matt's up bringing. The tiger was cold, the one time he tried to returned it was simply awkward and the moss green tiger was challenged by a few of Earth's members. The tiger missed his now dead companion, the only thing that was constant in his life. His siblings were all gone as well leaving him quite alone. Not that he cared.

Soft green eyes looked out over the river, before he slowly waded himself in. Like most tigers, Matthias didn't mind water. Sometimes he wished for Moth to be back with him but it had been over a year now he had been without the grey creature. The striped feline stood stock still, his eyes only moving part as his thick tail set in the water. Slowly silver flashes started to gather around him. His favorite food, shared by his mother, fish. Matt loved fish more than any other game, it was the main reason he frequented here mostly now that he had given up on seeing his mother again. She had new cubs, a new mate, and a new life she didn't need him lurking about reminding her of her mistake with Lizard. Well maybe not a mistake but certainly it wasn't out of love, least how Matthias saw it.

Finally the moss green cat struck out his paw, feeling a large pike stick to his claws. It was a measly size for him but it would do for now. He picked the fish from his claws, it still wriggled for life until he clinched his jaws rendering it motionless and returned to the bank. He set it down on shore looking at it before choosing to continue to get more. It would save time later, and working for a meal made it taste all the more better later.
