Kodiac smiles at Ama then growls at himself when he sees blood drip out of his mouth.
"Damn it !" He spits over the edge a couple more times, licking his ivories clean. Grey audits prick as Ama's soprano hits them. He chuckles as he turns back to her.
"Oh its nothing to be worried about. For one, I'm always cutting, scraping, and other wise hurting myself. Not on purpose of course but it happens. This time around it was 'cuz of stupidity. Did you happen to see a rock falling on your way up ? Well, that was mine. I spit it over the edge and it cut my mouth. You dont happen to know how to stop the blood flow do you ?" As the boy spoke a trickle of mouth blood went down his throat. His baby blue's narrowed with disgust as he gagged and spit some spittle over the edge. When he looked over at her again he saw her hesitation, her wariness.
"You don't have to be afraid of me. I would never hurt you, you know. And with the mouse, dont hesitate to take it. I can always get something else if im hungry." His voice was a happy little ball of sunshine. It was as if he never had a care in the world, and most of the time he didn't. Kodi lead his bright blue eyes to Ama's rainbow covered face when she answered his second question. Slowly his head nodded in agreement. Finally she took a bite of the mouse and he grinned happily. 'She even looks pretty when she's acting shy..' The thought just slipped into his mind and he blushed. His cheeks burned a fairly bright red. Quickly, he turned his head away, fixing his watery orbs on the far below ground and hoping she didn't notice. Replies:
