Cheshire looked out from the cave watching as the rain fell all around it, dripping from every part of the entrance. The sound the rain made on top of it was a rather soothing sound, one of Cheshire’s favorites. The mare soon lay down which was something she did rarely but this was one of those times. Spookam came up to her side cuddling up against her and laying his head down.
“I hate the rain…:” He spoke with a huff.
Cheshire laughed slightly and looked to the boar beside her. “Oh hush, it’s amazing.” She turned her eyes back to the rain only to see a stranger crossing the lands.
She got up quickly Spookam doing the same thing, his eyes finally seeing what hers did. Cheshire watched as the stallion got some water before making his way over to her. A smile slid along her muzzle when she saw the little weasel on his back; how cute she was. When he spoke she listened but didn’t yet say a word almost as if her nerves wouldn’t let her.
“I’m Cheshire, this is Spookam.” She looked to him then back to the stallion, her words finally finding their way out. “Where are you coming from if I may ask? Do you live in these lands?” Her voice was soft and friendly like it always was.
Spookam stayed quiet for once, just studying the strange stallion. He had major trust issues with anyone but Cheshire; it was something he was working on but failing. Cheshire watched as water dripped off the both of them. The rain poured down harder and harder becoming more of a thunder storm then when she was out in it. Her ears shot up when another loud boom of thunder hit them, her eyes going slightly wide. Hopefully this storm wouldn’t get much worse then it already was.
"How fine you look when dressed in rage."
