It seemed the small Clydesdale couldn’t get enough of Limbo no matter how many times he’d explored its lands. As soon as Lou thought he’d covered everything he’d find himself somewhere he hadn’t been before, overcome with childish angst and curiosity all at once. After all, how could an expert explorer such as himself miss cool parts of the forest and valley?! It just wasn’t possible, so when the young colt came across a place he was unfamiliar with he toddled around it until he was. Soon the areas began to blur together, though, and Lou made his way back to a tree that he had deemed his favorite out of all the rest. It was big and had the greenest leaves, the coolest kind of roots, and made him feel safe when he curled up beside it at night.
The next morning however, something very familiar suddenly looked very different. His favorite tree no longer just inhabited pretty green leaves but also oddly shaped flowers entangled between them, something that had definitely not been there the night before. Lou blinked up at the blue tinted flowers and studied them carefully from below, examining this odd appearance and analyzing things best he could with his young limited knowledge. He had never seen flowers grow on trees before, or at least not like this! As pretty as the flowers were they certainly had Lou skeptical. He wasn’t sure if he liked these flowers just appearing on him out of nowhere. It was… confusing! With a small huff Lou began to circle the tree over and over again, his head low as he eyed the flowers above with a doubtful expression. The Clydesdale didn’t know that these particular flowers were called Morning Glories or that they only bloomed during sunup and would close later on in the day. Maybe if he kept on circling like he was Lou would witness them slowly start to fold back up; either that or eventually get dizzy enough to topple over. Whichever came first.
