Rapier's mind also turned to the past events. He remembered the very first time they had met. It had actually been here at Traydon River where she was bathing and heated the water up with her fire blesing. He had joined her, and got all the affection he needed for a long while. He didn't do anything for some months after that then he found Dracana, and that made him hermit for almost a year, during that time he did run into her again. He longed for her the second meeting and thought about taking her, but lucky for her she sensed danger and left him that time... There were a few more on off meetings between that time, perhaps that was why he had developed more than her than the others. The multiple, meaningful meetings had done it for him.
Rapier watched as the balls of fire fell down upon her, knowing she would be able to do something to avoid him. Some hit her, leaving charred fur but she didn't seem all that badly injured by the time the had started to touch the ground and catch fire there as well. He was about to come to her aide when the fem used ice beam beneath her paws, the steam resulting fogging up the cell they were in together. He didn't mind that, he strolled forward, using his nose to guide him towards her until he was right up on her. She looked fine, and at her proposition he said, "Of course, been ready for a while, you best look out though." He said with a chuckle. Choosing to leave the cell up for privacy sake. He would enjoy his prize well as would she.
"You are mine." He growled lightly nuzzling her roughly and using his fire blessing again upon her, though it was very deliberately aimed. That would be his true mark, and she the only one who he would take who would bear it.
