The young horselike creature made her way through the trees and bushes that littered the area. Jiao whickered softly as a butterfly flitted past her nose, for some reason she felt alive here in the snow unlike most creatures who liked the warmer months better. The Kirin was much at home here in the snow, as young as she was. The slate blue, light grey and white mythic was only about a week old and held the power of Ice, though she didn't know it yet, it was why she loved the snow so much. It was an innate desire to romp and play in the fluffy white substance but she didn't. The Kirin sensed today was not the day for frolicking and it seemed she was right.

As Jiao spotted the translucent, spectral form her velvety ears pricked. She had two small buds atop her head that with time would grow into two horns. She had cloven hooves and some of her body was covered in scales, namely her chest, back, shins and haunches. A scruffy mane lined her neck and a long, whip-like tail was curled behind her, also covered in scales. Jiao was part horse and part dragon, and one hundred percent curious. They say curiousity killed the cat but it could also be said for the young Kirin peering out at the spirit from behind a bush.

Jiao had never seen anything like the spirit, whether alive or dead, she had never seen anything else like it. She wouldn't know in her young life that it was a dragon, in fact she ddn't even know that said spirit was actually dead. Such concepts were far past understanding in her immature and young mind. So as she padded out, cloven hooves softly crunching on the snow, she let out a low nicker. "'Ello mizzy." Jiao said in barely comprehendible speech characteristic to those that were her age.
