Taniku flew carefully with Melancholia on her back. The pup was light, but that was mostly because she was young. There was of course a little squirming but at the same time Taniku was so massive she didn't really notice the movement. Taniku would ask the pups occasionally how they were doing. He had hoped they were enjoying the ride. The scenery from up high was quite fun and exciting. She watched the snow move and appear with different colors, some touched with pink with the morning rise others pure white, some gray from shadows and then the rivers, some with ice and others so wild Ice couldn't gather. It was a great feat to be able to fly but Taniku, the life type of tiger, enjoyed all the grand beauty life brought in all seasons but especially spring and summer. She was quite obvious in the forest during the winter, but she had so few natural enemies it wasn't always a bad thing to stick out like a sore thumb. Places like Traydon she imprinted on, it was something she could see at will with her star blessing.
She came to a landing somewhere in a clearing in Traydon. It was next to a little trickle off the river, something quite simple that would freeze and thaw daily and nightly...it was quiet even from little things. "Well This looks as good as any" Taniku said as she landed folded her wings and allowed the pup to slide off of her back. She sat waiting for the pups to say she was off but while waiting she continued to speak, "Begin looking around for a little den hidden for you to live in." She looked around herself, protection first, she couldn't let the pups fall under her watch which included the time she wasn't really watching her. "This is one of my favorite places, I think you'll love it" She said excited to be in a place that connected to her to her children, fish seemed to be the inherited favorite food. She turned around after a little while hoping the pup had been able to get off, "I will be able to see you using my star blessing. but don't forget you may call me when ever you need me and after the war I will be here." Her tiger tail flicked a little and the wind blew Taniku's thick coat around in the cold temperatures, "when we find you a nice place I'll build you a fire"
