Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

FREEDOM!! The word explodes from my tiny chest as I squiggle out from under Sweets' sleeping form. Yipping in shock at my own voice, I backpeddle away from her, glaring daggers at her as if she's going to wake up and attack me. Stumbling over a peddle, I scream as I roll backwards right smack into the den's cold hard wall. Lying there upside down with my back pressed against the rock surface, I blink my bright green eyes a couple times, simply staring in shock. Then I start laughing and shaking my head. Well, now, look at the mess he's gotten himself into, that silly ol' Twist.

Mumbling to myself as I finally roll to my side and stand back up, I shake out the dust in my coat and prance over to the tiny puddle that's formed near the entrance, turning my whole head sideways as I try to look at my reflection. Did he get all the dust off? Why, I believe he missed a spot, ol' chap! Gotz a big splotch on his nose, he does! Let's try to get rid of it, shall we? Now my nose is flawless as is the rest of me but I guess I don't know this for I start rubbing my front paw almost frantically at the front of my muzzle, wiping and growling in earnest till I've completely rubbed my nose raw.

Twitching it in owieness, I frown and start walking till I'm standing outside the entrance looking around. Well, where has Mom gotten off to? Shall I call for her? RAWR, OH RAWR!! Well, that came out funny, now didn't it? That didn't sound like Mom at all! Finding I like the sound of it though, I take off in a less than graceful gallop through the forest. RAWR! I yell at the top of my lungs, giggling aloud at the sound as it rolls off my tongue. Tickle, it does! I tell myself as I slow to a stop as a massive tree has fallen before me.

Staring at it, I wonder just how I'll get around this obstacle. Hmm. Climbing, anyone?
