The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.
His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.
"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."
It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.
"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."
The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

you will discover happiness. but it can never be found. happiness lies inside a secret cage. no one can possess the four-leaf clover. Her anxious want and yearning desire to see others of her kind was rewarded with a gracious set of words that let Clover ease down a lot, if not fully. But from his lyrics, the pallid vixen figured she’d found her way to dangerous grounds yet again. Ah well, if it was a matter of pride and how well you could swallow it as a pill in itself, Clover would do quite well. She had no real reason to hold her ivory plumage high – so that would explain why she kept a low profile following Calix. However, she still wasn’t entirely positive that she wasn’t dreaming. Therefore, every once in a while, her alabaster cloak would barely brush against his own mixed one. It was as if she were trying to convince herself that her guide was indeed flesh and bone. He was. At the sound of threats, Clover placed her eavesdroppers forward intently and listened quietly, staying stoic when Calix brought her to a halt. He raised his own hackles, dropped his listeners dangerously low to his cranial and the femme swear she saw a swords blade flash in his gaze. If wolves could whistle in surprise, Clover would have already done so. Carefully guarded sage stargazers went straight to the Queen of Andere Seite. Or else it was a Beta, but judging on how she dared to speak to everyone, the latter was incorrect. Good! A strong leader is a varg that doesn’t take bullcrap from anyone. A small smile touched the snow-hued teen’s paletee and she turned her vision to the titan beside her once the crimson and ivory ess had taken her leave, allowing a great work of words to sink in. Well, Calix sure had made an impression. “Congratulations, handsome. You just went from zero to hero.” Her whispers went even lower so only her guide would be able to hear them and their meaning. He said something else, and his libretto reached her domes within record time. She sighed, closing her windows to the world and then inhaled deeply, opened them, and took to looking around, trying to keep the surprise from fluttering out of her chest. The gal turned her attention back to Calix once she was finished. “Exquisite performance – I dare say if I had arrived earlier, or not at all, I wouldn’t have caused you the trouble of finding me—and then almost missing your big ‘promotion.’” Nervous audettes flicked low to her crown and then swiveled back up. It was a form of drama that she’d never used once before, but would get used to it sooner or later as she acquainted herself with her fellow mammalian family. She listened as the hessian gave a chilling answer to an ebon male’s questioning, and then watched as another female, this one a creamy colour with ivory dipped paws, approached Calix. While they talked, Clover pondered at what she should do… the alphess had obviously not wanted to be bothered… but Clover had come in quite late. Had the regal even seen that she was there? Ooh decisions decisions… why must she always come to two roads diverged? But it was decided once she set her rump on the terra. Nope. She wasn’t going. And if that was bothersome, well so be it. But right now, she didn’t really believe that the monarch here really wanted to know that she’d shown up and was wondering… nope. Not doing it. So she sat quietly… seen, but not heard.
