Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

I smile at his comment as he offers me a grin. I sway my tail in happiness as he takes a moment to look around and I can only hope that he's taking in all the beauty that Bright Moon has to offer. After a moment or so he talks again, asking me what my favorite thing about Bright Moon is. I have to glance away at first as the heat envelopes my cheeks. The first thing that jumps to mind of course is Raylen and the kindness he's shown me since I first arrived in Bright Moon. I can't help but picture his piercing blue eyes and the sadness he always seems to show in them.

I glance back at Blue to find nothing but curiosity in his gaze and I smile. I'm sure he's wondering what everything in Bright Moon is about and the wolves in it. I know that I was curious enough until I met Ray and since then I guess I've settled in enough. It's funny though since I haven't even met the alpha Tamlin yet. Or the one they call Satowra. I think she's supposed to be the alpha now but I'm not sure. It's so confusing.

Finally I come up with an answer. The openness of the wolves here, or at least the one I know. He's been nothing but kind to me and shows more understanding than I've ever thought possible. I've only heard good things about the other wolves who live here though I have yet to meet them. Plus I just can't get enough of the beauty of this place. There's always something new to see.
