Bryn was similar to Kiet in a way. Her loyalty had always been to Valun. He'd discovered her as a child, and he was all she'd ever known. The brown minotaur was never as harsh as him, but she still always felt like she owed him something for teaching her and practically raising her. Though the male had never openly thought himself her better, not as she grew older at least. Her tail flicked, her dark brown eyes scanning the area. There were indeed signs of others, but it seemed they had either recently left or departed in their coming. Bryn wasn't exactly a regular, and her club might deter some without the use of blessings. She personally never saw need for the magics. She had her own strength and would rely on that.
"There's no telling what we might find, Kiet. Rivers are frequented by everyone," she said, indicating some of the different tracks that were distinctly canine and feline, certain that Kiet, as a guardian of flocks, could see the difference. She listened to the bit about himself and smile. Given his appearance that made a good deal of sense. "You're actually older than I am, believe it or not. Though I think my kind are a bit shorter lived than yours. I grew up here for the most part, the mountain that is," she said, indicating the peak they had traveled from. "That's where I found Valun, or he found me, depending on how you look at it. My life was spent training to become a warrior, though we never saw the day our skill was needed. Not when the pack Valun had chosen to ally himself with was destroyed. And then he just... disappeared," she said, her gaze casting skyward. She wasn't sure if he had died or just left, nor did she know the cause behind it. That was why she waited at the mountain, hoping he might return. "Now I know what sheep are. I've seen pictures. But what exactly is a llama?" she asked curiously. Replies:
