The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

Frost Fawn's words had sliced through me, resulting in a serious brawl of viscious words. As for me, though, I ended it with being the adult within the arguement; her being the child that continued it on. I had turned on my heels away from the problem, ignoring them as I asked for Clover's company for a walk. The teen has always been such a friendly figure, her aura simply soothing the area wherever she may be. Her whisper of a voice trailed behind me as she addressed River, speaking of seeking her out later to hunt together some time. If I wasn't out of my mind at the moment, I would have smiled at her kindness, but as of now I was nothing of the sorts. Seems I could learn a thing or two from the fatale, and in return she could learn some thing from me. It was her past that had surprised me, and from the greeting at the borders, the vixen and I had become great friends within the short time period. Not too long after her words lilted into the atmosphere, the small padding of paws behind me hit my audettes. By the time we were out of sight and earshot, the pallid vixetta halted in front of me, cutting off my path and causing me to halt without choice. My audette flickered at her faint worried tone, 'Are you alright, Calix? Have I called you trouble?'

Trouble? Clover...causing me trouble? Definetly not, and immediatly I shook my head from left to right, "I am fine, and you need not ask if you caused me trouble; for you could never do such a thing." I plastered a smile on my face, catching her sage optics in my golden ones for a moment's time before chosing to walk around her. To make my mood better, I started to take off into a steady lope-not too fast and not too slow, my muscles releiving themselves of the tension and setting my mind into a clear and open state. It wasn't long before an aroma filled my nostrils, the perfume filling my senses without a choice and causing me to come to a halt, a few heart beats passed before the pain-filled howl reached my obsidian ears. Without hesitation, I stalked forward towards the treeline, crouching into the brush, my golden lanterns stared out into the open to catch the scarred fae's frame. The gal was a lean girl, but the look that crossed her dial was something to be worried about.

On graceful paws, I pushed myself into a stead trot as I appeared so suddenly from the brush; all thoughts cleansing from my ingenious mind and focusing on the female. As I neared, my vision scanned the endless scars and burns across her body, landing finally on the long pink line along her muzzle. Seems as though she's been through a lot in her years, and by the look in those sad-stricken stargazers, something was bothering her deeply-something I understood completely. Coming to a halt, I looked down at her from her laying position, "Hello, I am Calix; a member of Andere Seite. Please state your name and business here; and perhaps mention what has gotten you so sad?" My brows furrow lightly, my golden eyes softening as I stared down at her.
