The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.

To his dismay Eli no matter how hard he tried couldn’t quite fully imagine Hope standing next to him. Instead he thought of all the memories they shared and how painful life has been without her presence. It was a void that he could not fill. He did things to try and make the hurting stop, even only for a little while. He went on long walks hoping to exhaust himself enough to sleep for a few hours this way he wouldn’t feel anything. Eli wasn’t sure how to feel numb to all his emotion turmoil but he knew he had to do something. He was so wrapped up in his own world that he had been neglecting his girls and children. He felt the only child that he truly felt a connection with was Sylvia.

Soft traces of someone coming near him is what brought Eli out of his funk and back to reality. His soft orbs opened slowly just as Constantine rubbed against him gently. Much like Hope she felt like a fairy, a soft angel that could easily be broken if not treated with delicate care. Sighing while shifting Eli took the time to enjoy the soft gurgling of water beneath them allowing poetic silence to offer serenity as he searched for the right words to say.

He however had absolute no idea how to explain his thoughts to someone who was as beautiful as her. A part of him didn’t want too for he didn’t want her to feel that because he didn’t know how to truly live without Hope that there was no room in his life for her. He felt a bond to Constantine, a draw that was familiar and safe. ”I miss her” Eli trailed off turning his gaze away from Constantine and casting it outwards allowing the wind to engulf them.

”she was my best friend, my teacher on how to love. Hope was everything to me” sighing Eli continued. ”without her I feel nothing but an empty void. A void that runs so deep that I have gotten to limits as drastic as neglecting my brother, my home, you..” looking back at her apologetic eyes Eli dug his nose into her chin softly. She was the only one he had told about hope and he felt vulnerable. Here he was supposed to be her protector and instead became a foolish child who cuddled up to it’s mother. Pulling away Eli looked away once more ashamed shaking his apogee ”I’m supposed to be a man, a protector, I’m supposed to be the strong one and here I am a complete foolish mess” Eli again paused not knowing what else to say. He was stuck in the moment of having all of his emotions swarm him like the ocean and had absolute no idea how to explain them in a way Constantine could understand. ”I’m sorry” he whispered these words while trailing off falling quiet.
