Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

heart is breaking, barely breathing Tamlin

I make my way toward the borders hesitantly, already smelling another Bright Moon wolf there. The problem is...I only smell one. Where is everyone else. I smell at least four Abendrot wolves at the border. Those kind of odds scare me. At least it's not Andere wolves. I wouldn't like the memory that they could have been my pack, that they were my pack before Seline took over and I ran like the coward I am.

My tail fights me, wanting to tuck between my legs and show my fear as I make my way toward the borders, yet knowing that Tamlin granted me a rank, my first ever, I want to at least support my lone pack member who showed up to challenge them, even if it is a lost cause. Will this be the end of me? Will my death be by a raiding pack? I shiver at the thought even as I keep going.

Finally I can make out the back of the wolf that smells like Bright Moon. It's a female wolf, a young female by the looks of her. When she turns her head enough, I can make out a bright blue eye. I lift my tail enough to show my rank of Iota female as I walk up, forcing a look of confidance onto my face, even though it probably looks fake as hell. Who am I kidding? I'm no confident wolf. All of a sudden I wish Ray was here.

I stop beside the wolf, offering her a timid smile before turning my focus on the wolves ahead. There's a classy female standing just over the border facing the Bright Moon teen and a large white wolf stands off to the side, a male and his face looks gruesome. I've heard horror stories about the alpha of Abendrot, Kershov. This can only be him. Trying not to look too long at anyone, I glance over to the side, taking in yet another white wolf, this time a muscular female, her coat a pattern of scars. She looks dangerous and the quiet way she's looking at the teen at my side only looks more deadly.

I look over the shoulder of the female before us, hoping I don't offend her as my eyes find the large white male, wanting to speak to the alpha since he can change the outcome of this. I'm sure you'd like to speak to our alpha, Tamlin. I'll call him for you. My voice is soft, almost shy, letting him know that I mean no challenge before I actually call. Giving a sideways glance at the teen again, giving her permission to join in the call if she wants to, I lift my muzzle and let a long drawn out howl release from my ivory lips. It's not urgent but enough to let the ivory alpha know that his presence is needed at the borders soon rather than later.

If anything, he needs to know that a neighboring pack is here.
