Quite surprising how opinions can change so quickly. Twilight Dreams wasn't on my favorite list in the beginning, her cocky attitude had really gotten on my nerves, but after these past few days I guess you can say I learned something new. She's pretty bad ass! Not only do I not mind being around her, or hearing her jokes, I wouldn't mind going on another hunt with her. Hell, I hoped Tamlin would let us go on another hunt together again-and if he even thought about me going to easily forgive the others for leaving, then that's gonna be a problem. Just the thought of all of them returning to their pillars and padding off as if nothing was going on and they were carrying out their day; Raylen being one I would never suspect. Isn't he beta? Our king demanded he take control of the hunt while he went to take the challenge-and by the faint smell of him once again I could tell he had won. That thought brought the faint smile to my obsidian kissers, and after a good half hours rest I stood back up onto my sturdy legs, shaking out my pelt and perking my ears at some approaching pawsteps from behind me.
The dark cloaked ess finshed dragging the other doe to my destination, and was now sauntering rather slowly in my direction; reaching me and then collapsing to her side. A soft giggle escaped her dial as her lanterns looked up in my direction, and I turned my own crown down to let my emerald luminaries look down at her. Her words brought a smile to my lips once again, repeating a thought I had earlier of when we were going to do it again. "Hopefully soon; and just us, not the others who chose to abandon.." The howl of Tamlin's had echoed in response to my call, and my obsidian dial turned in the direction of the song. It wasn't long before the ivory frame poked through the foliage of the tree line, my ears twitched to the lilting lyrics that spilled from his dial. Nodding in respect, I raise my ebony head back up a little proudly for having such dedication to the pack that we continued on the hunt without the rest of our members, and taking down two does. Smiling lightly, I responded in a calm voice, the exhaustion noticable within my tone, "As do I; It was a shame that you had to leave. I see you came out on top, not that there were any doubts in the first place.." My eyes scan his alabaster frame, taking in the faint scars upon his shoulder and the larger one upon his neck area. They seemed to have healed without infection, which was a great sign in my opinion, and as I awaited him to formulate a response-or Twilight Dreams to first- I wondered how long he had layed low for them to do so, and just how bad his opponant had gotten injured.
