The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

OOC: Yay, Selly and Sally post xD And sorry for any mistakes, this was posted on an iphone at quarter to four in the morning. Erm, sleeping is bad for you.... :3

Having lived as long as she had, Ti had a vast collection of memories, some fond, some she wished she could forget. But those dark times were far behind her here, the warm sunshine gave her mind access to much happier days. Days when she was nought but a tiny pup, playing tag with her brothers' tail. Or scrambling atop her mothers' back and proudly declaring that she was the great bullslayer, queen of the northern lands. Those were the good days of youth and laughter.

Ti always remembered her family with great fondness, especially her little brother. It saddened her to think that she was here and he was there, and neither of them knew if the other was alive and well. Of course, Tjikiju was a creature of hopeful optimism, but it was always better to know rather than guess. Kijautae could be anywhere for all she knew, and just like her, he wasn't getting any younger. She had faith in him though, he was a good leader and she trusted the old pack with his life and his protection.

That thought brought the old she-wolf back to thinking about her current habitat. She hoped she'd remember these with the same fondness, hoped they'd help her get over her seperation, give her something new to build on. Ki would always hold a special place in her heart, but she was nothing short of adaptable. You had to be in the north, life was harsh and cold, unforgiving and unrelenting. Indeed, the vast majority of Ti's numerous scars were not caused by wolves, but rather the daunting world she grew up in. She'd been kicked, butted and trodden on by countless caribou and musk ox, despite the fact that the pack would go weeks without eating. But she was a survivor, they all were.

The creamy gold female was still reminiscing when a voice suddenly sounded beside her. She'd not noticed the male's approach and nearly left the ground in startled shock, a momentary look of surprise plastered across her features. Perhaps she'd relaxed a bit too much? Striving to recover as much of her composure as she could, while covering her embaressment, Ti took a moment to calm herself down, allowing a soft and sheepish smile to cross her face. "Please, please, forgive. So far away that I not notice, is sun stroke, eh? You Seline father, yes yes? Not remember name, you share?"

Tjikiju was careful to keep her tail low and her gaze on the males' nose as she spoke, well aware that simply by being the father of the alpha, he was far above her in rank. She was looking a bit more like the reserved elder she was meant to be now, rather than a scattered and jumpy little thing. She had her moments, didn't everyone? Though she almost felt guilty, lazing around and staring off into space like a lovestruck teenager, it wasn't something she planned to be showing off. But oh well, these things happened.

As the old wolf waited for a reply, who should arrive en scene but the Alpha herself. Ti immediatley lowered her stance in a slight bow, though her thick tail dusted the ground in greeting. Her limited gaze watched as the youngster nuzzled her father, noting the apparent infection in the queens' shoulder. Her heart went out to the mottled girl, it couldn't be comfortable like that and Ti knew all too well the danger it posed. She'd lost one of her siblings to a leg infection, a memory she certainly didn't relish. Seline looked quite content though, so Ti hoped that it wasn't as bad as it looked. Besides, she was a strong wolf, she would fight it.

"Indeed, this little meet 'n' greet, eh? And yes yes, most certain know you, dear Queen. I Tjikiju, humble follower. Most say Ti, easy for southern tongue. " With a warm smile, the old she-wolf gave a quick shake of her coat, the area around her turning white with loose fur as she did so. And spring was coming, the moulting was only going to get worse... Turning her attention back to the injured she-wolf, Ti felt the need to help her, though she didn't know if it would be permitted. "Shoulder look bad this day, yes yes. Can help? Learn first paw how bad uh, infection, be. "
