Rue had left the meeting and ice shortly after Achille's had made his escape with his father. Rue really did not have much to say about the whole situation that had went on, or at least he didnt show it. Being carried over the lands by large leathery smokey blue bat like wings, the skeletal brute looked almost like a demon sent from hell to take Strider away. He was also sure that its probably what most would think if they spotted him landing by.

Although Rue did not really see eye to eye with why the brute wanted to go on with the war and that their conversation about it before was brief, they were still allies. Traitor or not, Rue wanted to pay his respects by watching the rather young brute being sent off. He stayed at the back of the crowd, knowing it would only cause some sort of a commotion.

He closed his ice blue orbs and bent his head down in respects and after a few moments of silence and gathering in the crowd around him, he turned around and spread his wings again. The chill of the wind caught under his wing and plucked his body from the ground as he continued to flap and left skyward with a low respectful howl. The way Strider had gone was the way no one should have gone and was deeply unfair and even Rue knew this. The howl gathered on the tip of the wind like an echo and faded evening as he made his way back to his pack.
