Shadow was a little more than relived to hear his words about falling back, getting out of the open. She was never much a fan of the vast, open spaces. The only reason she stepped from her shelter of the treeline was because of him. For him she'd go anywhere. She had noticed that he had become restless, like her. She was not happy that he was so like her, but she appreciated the fact now. "I'll follow wherever you may lead, Deku."
She rose to her full stature. Her wings ruffled, her gaze swept the area. Her ears flattened at the sound, head turning sharply, looking for the source. Shadow was ready to flee, ready and waiting. She had already taken a few steps back towards the trees, unsure which way Deku would go. She'd offer to lead, but it had been so long. And the only place she could run o without thinking about it was Wind Gale, but after all this time, she was unsure if LZ still held the pack, or if she'd even be welcome. So she would let her son lead, let him take them someplace he was a little more comfortable. Replies:
