It isn't long before he's approaching her and Belita is relieved. She had thought to be alone and now, is glad that she is not. Having Dante approach her is calming; comforting to her mind and soul. Belita nickered softly to him as he pulled himself closer, his movements gathered and collected. Ears twitched and swiveled forward as his brief words found her hearing. Softly then, she spoke up.
Dante. Thank you. Pausing briefly, the dunskin sighed quietly as she shifted her weight and then continued. I wish I could tell you why I left but I don't know the answer to that myself. It puzzles me too and is troubling to the mind. I try not to tary over it though as it isn't healthy I would imagine. I am home now though and can only promise not to leave again. This is my home after all and I've always loved it here. I wish to get to know you better, our time is far too long in waiting.
Chuckling softly then, Belita watches him through rich honey eyes. Her ears are shifted high and forward on her head so that she might catch further words of him should they come. Of course though, they would come wouldn't they? It isn't like he'll remain quiet then when she's spoken so much at once toward him. Granted, some of it was babbling but that was all right. Belita was trying here and that was the most important thing really.
Glancing around at her surroundings, she let a breath exhale from her flaring nostrils. The scents were so familiar; welcoming. Nothing seems to have changed much Dante. Only perhaps it is more quiet than it had been. Though, there had never been many here before I left. Tell me Dante, have you found others to join the herd at all here in Paradise? Obviously not and one would have to wonder why not? Dante should have had a flourishing herd in the time that she'd left him and yet, there was no one here now but herself and him it would seem.
