The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

Busy busy busy; Seline found herself having alone time less and less with the new role of Alpha placed upon her. Before the Satanican’s lost their home, before it burnt to the ground from the raging fire that consumed the land, Seline had not been the one to call the shots at the time. It had been her Father, and the sole leader of the Satanican’s; Saladin. And yet now that the family found themselves within the world of Blossom Forest, it was Seline who had stepped up to the plate and assumed leadership. Did that make her Father worth less in her eyes? No, not even in the slightest. Her Father is, as he would forever remain, the leader of their family. But the ivory and crimson Queen knew her Father had better things to do then deal with pack wolves all day every day, much more exciting, devious things.

Such as the mission he and her Uncle, Liquid, had disappeared on. Not even a day after Liquid had returned home from the challenger- a no show of course- Saladin had found him and the pair had been off. Seline had an idea of what the two were up to already- several months ago she knew Saladin had taken a bitch for whelping, and that the brothers were now going to take what was rightfully theirs. The strongest pups of the litter, it was simply the way things happened within the family; simply the way of life.

Speaking of pups, the Mother had felt relief when her own son Quirino had finally showed up at her borders. So far there was no sign of his sister, Cade, but her scent hung faintly upon her brothers crimson pelt; meaning the two had not been apart for very long. She would have to question and ask him later about it, if Cade did not show up soon enough.

She had already vistited one stranger on the border, who had been first greeted by Calix and Clover, his new little maiden-friend, and now she was off to yet another. The first had been a male, someone so far Seline did not trust entirely. He had a certain air of uneasiness about him, not to mention he had not dropped down in submission to Calix; not that he really needed to, but the way he had spoken didn’t help his case much either. The second the blood and crimson female was now heading toward was distinctly feminine in her perfume, young enough and seemingly healthy. A rather lovely howl that arose not shortly after detection was simple confirmation of her suspicions. The scent signature also told the Alpha that the she-wolf had lingered on the border for some time, perhaps camping out as she made a decision on joining? Or perhaps a spy sent from another pack to watch the Satanican’s? Seline highly doubted the latter, as the girl smelt of no other wolves, at least none so recently as the last few days. But there was the faintest hint of coyote; young coyote on the females scent, which really could have meant anything.

Silently padding her way through the many trails that made up the inner working system of the territory, the Queen made rather good time in approaching the female. She was upwind of the girl, which would give the stranger a silght heads up, but Seline was not worried about it in the slightest. Instead, she merely slowed her stride a bit to an easy lope, before finally the ivory stranger came into sight. The night had long since fallen, and it seemed there was not a single cloud to prevent the moon light to caress all in its path. The fresh snow that had recently draped Andere in a warm embrace sparkled and light up with fantastic luminesence within the etheral rays of light coming from above. The scene was rather mesmorizing, but the sight that caught Seline’s eye most of all was the pale hued female before her, who she took no hesitation in approaching.

Allowing a light, friendly smile to curl up the corners of her dark lips, the Alpha then allowed her bright, emerald gaze to roam across every curve and definition she could find on the snowy pelt of the stranger before her. She noted with pelasure the rather toned muscles, and yet at the same time obvious feminine structure; the Queens mind also ran check the olfactory she was reading of the girls scent. She could detect the coyote more strongly now, as well as the unmistakable aroma of canine blood. So, the girl was either a killer in her prime, or a cannibal like the ones Seline had heard of often. Personally she had never met a cannibal, but she knew she did not think much on the topic. A meal was a meal, and if some preferred taboo meat over the usual venison, elk or coney, then so be it; it was their own choice, after all. Nodding in satisfaction, the Alpha finally allowed her intense irises to lock on to the strangers rather dark gaze, allowing the silence to fill in between the pair before finally speaking. Her voice was tender, caressing; like liquid velvet to the auditory senses. “Greetings my lovely stranger, my name is Seline, Alpha of Andere Seite. Tell me now; what has brought you to my land, and what’s got you interested?

At the very last word Seline used, she allowed the humor to come through in her more then pleasing tone, as well as the same smile to caress her maw. The gesture had her flesh stretching taunt across the bone, and in that causing the scars prominent on the right side of her muzzle to show clearly. It wasn’t an intentional gesture, it was simply something that happened now because of the palcement of the blemishes. The Queen was hardly even aware of such a fact; she hadn’t exactly had the time the take a good look at herself recently, nor did she really care to. Her pack became what was most important to her, after winning leadership; just beside her family, her direct blood line of course. Prepared to awaited the ivory girls reply, the Alpha took it upon herself to give her halfway healed shoulder a rest as she reclined easily back on her haunches. The obvious sign of content would hopefully signify the stranger herself to relax a bit, but it was up to her own mind to comprehend the meaning.

Allowing her mostly ivory tail to wrap snugly around her haunches, Seline settled into her wait, her mind entirely full of patience as she did so. Abesentmindedly the Queen also noticed the faint scent of a male wolf that could only belong to the male she had noted with pleasure; and now even more so, at the first pack meeting she had held- Lucrene. The thought would have brought a smile to her muzzle but as she was paying most attention to the female before her, her expression remained rather relax and neutral; giving the stranger nothing away.

OOC; Huzzzaah, HTML tiem 8) And, Kolure- hope you don't mind me posting Seline here.. I just had a hankering to write starting at five in the morning, finishing now at 647. No biggie, I'm not a crazy vampire or anything :3 But.. yeah.. <3!
