I do not tire of the enthusiastic charge to the conversation, I’d really needed something to take my mind off my own problems and Allouette happened along at just the right moment with just the right set of stories to provide adequate distraction. My head bobs in a promise of yes at her request, “of course I’ll tell you all about it when I get back from the peaks!” Another little hope of excitement follows as plans for the cave exploration proceed. ”Oh, boy! Oh, boy! This is going to great! Spring just can’t come soon enough!” I kick at the snow under foot for a moment suddenly irritated by it’s presence, “I wonder if the Keeper could fix it…”

At that Aaron momentarily pulls away from his fascination with Mael to add his two sense, “Don’t be ridiculous Koralynne, even if she could I don’t think she would just because you don’t want to wait a little longer to go exploring.” I sigh knowing that he is right and that even I probably couldn’t get up the courage to ask such a silly thing of the great lady. “Well, we will absolutely, definitely, totally fined each other and go just as soon as things are dry enough.. I promise, promise, promise!” My eyes narrow at Aaron then deciding that perhaps I will tell the tail of his mean trick. “You should keep an eye on that blending business Allouette. Some axians are known to take advantage of being able to hide in plain sight like that and delight in scaring their poor partners half to death!” Aaron gives a huffy grunt at this and turns his attention back to Mael. A small nod of understanding follows the bird’s claim that he can not make any other displays right now, “Of course, there is a sad lack of greenery to be used at the moment isn’t there?” I suspect there was something more to this that Aaron understood and I did not but am just irritated enough with him not to ask.

Deciding to put the caves and mountains aside for a while I settle on the forest since it seems that she has spent at least as much if not more time here than I, “you said you’d been all over the forest so there’s got to be some spot that here that you particularly like… where is it?”
