Events unfolded at this meet like drunken men in an Irish pub. One minute, everything was ordered, the next, it was filling with newcomers and pack wolves having family spats. Kaizer watched with keen interest and greeted Niko as cheerfully as he could. He rather liked this new brother so far and playfully slapped his tail against Niko’s thigh as they watched the drama with Kylo unfold. A fae entered, the Zeta of Malignant by the looks and seated herself by Niko and playfully spoke to him, admiration in her tone almost. Kaizer tried to catch her gaze and gave her a friendly nod and a brief smile. His father hadn’t been wrong, this was a busy pack, which made for good numbers but also varied drama. His father couldn’t really speak much of that though, since he had caused a great deal of drama himself. When an elder male wolf descended upon a younger fae, whom appeared to be his daughter, attacking his son when he tried to stop him, Kaizer reacted with lightening quick reflexes. He stepped in front of the fae and gave the elder wolf a calm stare.

I suggest we leave the disembowelling til’ later…or at least until your queen commands it. Calm yourself and leave the lady alone.

Kaizer made sure to not use a tone that could be taken as demanding. He didn’t want to come off the power hungry prince; simply another pack member doing what he knew was right. Enforcing his mother’s law, the queen’s law. Scarface had no right to bring disruption to the meet and he had technically just attacked a pack mate of Kaizer’s anyway. The male should be fine, as long as he didn’t start a fight. Kaizer glanced over to him with a stare that told him to fight any urge to start a fight with his father. He knew that urge; Arcadian had trained him well, but harshly, hard and without love. It had made him harder, stronger, and faster, but he knew nothing of love. Yet he knew protection and pack law and he chose to enforce it now, believing it was right. Only his mother’s command to let the fae receive brutality would make him step aside. The fae had a right to a fair chance at joining, to his mother’s judgement.
