This is the Dog Pound. Most of the cages are outside. Stray dogs are brought here, as well as wolf hybrids. The fences are 6 feet high, too high for wolves to jump. Most dogs will do anything to get free. Several cats and some dogs hang around here, and so you can steal their food.
Beware of the dog.

Gunther continued to stare at everyone as they walked by. A couple little kids noticed him and stopped to poke their little fingers at the cage which led to them being promptly pulled away by a parent. He would simply sniff at their hands, easily recognizing them as baby humans. When they would leave, he'd choose another human to watch. That was when his cinnamon eyes landed on one in particular. She was actually looking at him as well. This was odd. She was actually coming into his cage and she didn't even look like a pound worker. He tilted his head as he looked at her. She came right on in and sat in front of the door, his only way out. This sort of unnerved him. He inched backwards a bit but kept his eyes on her, ready to give any cues if she should prove threatening to him. Now a hand was coming his way. He reached out with his neck to sniff at it, but nothing more. He then began staring at her with an expectant gaze. He wanted to get up and check her out but he was unsure. Was she here to give him food and water? A toy? Or was she simply here to keep him company?
