The smoky black filly would have to admit to having been uncertain when Pevensie had told her to head off to the Playground while she sorted a few things out. While the Friesian hybrid couldn’t imagine how, was it possible that the mare had figured out about her strangeness? Was that why she was now being sent away again? It was reluctantly that the little winged filly went, unwilling to disobey her new guardian but also not wanting to part from the mare so soon. Not even a few steps into the playground, things went blank in the smoky filly’s memory; she could remember nothing of how she’d spent that day until a few hours before sunset, when she suddenly snapped back into awareness to find herself huddled down beneath a bramble bush. Sighing, Ikici had gone to wait for Pevensie’s return, and had been overjoyed when the mare arrived a little before sunset.
Following Pevensie out of the playground (on black feathered wings that were still more than a little shaky and awkward to use), the smoky black filly couldn’t wait to see what surprise her new guardian had prepared for her. Pevensie seemed so excited she could barely contain herself, and it was catching; Ikici was practically bursting with emotion between curiosity and the sheer joy she’d felt ever since Pevensie had returned. Eagerly the smoky black filly closed her eyes as Pevensie requested, awkwardly following the mare’s nudges into the proper direction. At Pevensie’s excited cry, Ikici’s grey eyes shoot open, and she gives a small exclamation of wonder at the sight of two gigantic birds’ nests in the tree. When Pevensie lands in one and settles down in it, Ikici giggles and carefully lands within her own, head bending down to inspect it from a closer range. Oh Ensie it’s so pretty! Ikici exclaimed, her face practically radiating joy. The grey eyed filly giggled, fluttering her black wings at her sides. We’re in nests, just like the birds! Can we really sleep up here?
