Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

OOC: If you did this on a phone....DANG

If you got your computer finally....YAY ^_^

IC: Even as I step further into the territory, I noticed the absolute silence all around me. My nose twitched but I couldn't pick out a recent scent save Raylen and a handful of others. My heart leapt a bit at the thought of Raylen and seeing him again. I wonder how he's holding up with Satowra disappeared again and Tamlin away for a while. I don't know why he left but I'm sure it was something important to call him away from the pack and he wouldn't leave it like Satowra did.

As soon as I think it, I banish the thought with a ducked head in sheepishness. Who am I to go poking paws at others? I didn't even know the wolf to call her out like that. Who knows? Maybe she didn't just leave the pack. Maybe she had a good reason. In fact, I'm sure she did.

I catch a whiff of Raylen's perfume not long after choosing to lean against the forlorn tree, it's rough bark easing the loneliness a little as it scratches against my tender flesh. My ears prick and I lift my head, turning it to set my golden gaze on the bright blue of a golden wolf, my golden boy. The smile slowly eases its way onto my lips as it hits me just how much I've missed seeing him lately. He understands me, sometimes better than I understand myself, or at least that's what I think at times.

He looks like he's been watching me for a while, but I can only wonder how long. My skin heats up a little at the thought but I glance down at the ground for a moment, gently clearing my throat as I look back up and meet his eyes. I watch as he steps toward me, his ears flickering as if he's unsure about something. I tilt my head, watching his lips tug downward into a slight frown and it looks so wrong on his face. For a moment I swear a flicker of hurt flashes in his eyes before he covers it back up with the usual warmth I see there.

Shame flickers in my own in answer, feeling bad for just up and leaving the pack lands like I did. Really I didn't think anyone would miss me.

I listen to the strange tone he uses when he says my name and to cover up the sadness, I force my lips into a flickering smile as my tail gives an absent wag. Hi, Raylen.
