On My Own (Open%01 Preferably Brute)

Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Talia smiled tiredly at her five pups. They were growing up so fast. Just that morning they had opened their eyes wide, and she was surprised. They all had light green eyes, except for Kihiro. He had her own hazel gems. Now that their eyes were open, they seemed shocked at what they saw. Their mouths opened slightly in wonder as they took in the scene. Talia leaned over and scooped Kadia up in her jaws. Talia had to keep a close eye on her. She was an adventurous one. The others moved cautiously away from their mother, testing their boundaries already. The field was vast and clear, safe for her pups. She kept glancing around though, her eyes dark with worry. She knew without a doubt that she would give her last breath to save her pups if they were in danger, but she knew she wasn't strong enough. It was a deep fear that one day she wouldn't be able to protect them, not on her own. If only...
