Things in the pack had seemed to die down quite a bit, and this allowed Seline to get the last of the rest her body so desperately needed. The infection that had plagued her shoulder since the fight for Alpha ship with Kree had finally cleared up, and for this the Queen was grateful. She no longer walked with any sort of limp, though a nice scar had fourmed on her shoulder as a result. She didnt mind, of course. As with the Satanican blood pumping hot and thick through her veins, came the scars she already bared across her chest. Three even slashes that showed she was indeed a strong warrior of her bloodline, capable of many fantastic things through training and conditioning. The scar now present on her shoulder simply added to that, as well as the several criss-crossing scars now marring her muzzle. These scars were located on the right side of her face; the section of flesh and pelt dyed a dark crimson by her foolproof genetics. It was almost as if some wicked hand of the cruel Fates had taken a hot dagger and carved a forever smile in half of her muzzle- giving the Queen of Andere a rather grotesque beauty.
There had been yet another challenger on the borders just the other day, boldly coming to challenge who he thought was still reigning Alpha; Kree. The thought that another wolf even thought that male was still the King irked Seline, and she had quickly approached the stranger wolf and dealt with them. They had gone off in their own direction, perhaps to return one day, but for now Seline was content to relax and not have to fight another useless challenge. She was still grateful to her uncle, Liquid, who had agreed to take on the first challenger for her. But lo and behold the coward had ditched; run out on his own time before even facing Liquid at the clearing, where the fight was expected to be held. Liquid had returned victorious, but the moment he had returned home, Saladin had whisked him away and they were off. Seline had suspicions that it had something to do with a whelping of her Father’s, but she could not be certain until they returned home with their prizes- if there are any.
Seline had decided to take it upon herself to remark every single border that Andere held; to the north, south, west, east. It had taken her a day or two, leaving her underlings to take care of business with the welcoming and accepting of newcomers, and leaving the Queen to take care of her needed business. After making her rounds to secure the borders of her territory, Seline found herself taking a leisure stroll within the pine forest littering Andere to the west. A sudden, very familiar and peculiar perfume wafted across her muzzle, alerting her olfactory senses and therefore brain to the presence of a pack wolf not too far from her current position. The lovely perfume belonged to none other than the fair and lovely maiden Calix had brought in; Clover. Lifting her blood and snow skull in a high arch, while allowing her bright emerald gaze to pan the area and scan for any hint of the girl, the Queen is pleased as her gaze lands on the fourm of Clover, seemingly on her back beneath several tall pines. The girl was peculiar indeed.
Making her way across the forest floor to the trees Clover lay beneath, Seline didn’t take her usual precaution in keeping her foot falls silent and stealthy. Instead, she allowed- several times- her steps to purposefully find a twig or branch to create an audible ‘snap’ or ‘crack.’ It was mostly for the younger girl before her, so that she would be aware of the approach of a stranger. Seline knew already her scent must be giving her away, but it was always nice to have a back up plan and merely make sure one was heard; especially for one of her underlings. Clearing her throat delicately when she was just about a foot and a half from Clover, the Queen then allowed herself to speak, her emerald irises fixed on the pale fourm of the young girl. “Looking rather relaxed down there pretty girl. Mind if an old lady such as myself joins you?” Allowing the gentle humor to show through her words, her voice, and her eyes, Seline hoped to ease Clover into a more comfortable state with her Queen. Earlier, when the pale girl had slipped away from the slight little gathering on the borders, Seline had noticed her uneasiness at all the bodies and wolves, as well as that something was a bit off with the girl. As Alpha, the blood and snow female took it upon herself to find out just what that was, and if possible; fit it and make it better for Clover. After all, she was a part of her pack, and pack meant family; the Satanicans stuck together and took care of their own. Clover was, as she had been since first meeting her, one of Seline's own.
