aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

Things had been happening rapidly. She'd missed attending the hunt and she'd heard some kind of rumor having to do with Sin's pups, but she wasn't sure as to what event the others were referring to. All she knew for certain was that Sin had asked her to patrol the borders while she handled the challenger that had so rudely sprung from their own ranks. It seemed that honesty and loyalty meant nothing these days. Though Halibel was a mere teen, the thought of betraying Sin was so utterly wrong that she visibly shook with rage, midstep. With some effort, the ginger pelted ess pushed the thoughts away and went back to her given task, listening for any sound of a soul on the border and sniffing around as she followed the scent marked line. She'd been wandering about the border for a few hours before she found herself close enough to catch the sounds of someone dying if her ears were correct. Curious but not so careless as to approach without caution, Hali picked her way over the terrain to take in a trio of wolves, two adults and a pup.

Neither the male nor the pup smelled like Aurora Borealis, so she instantly marked them as intruders. The female was too bloody and masked by the crimson's scent to make heads or tails of her natural odor, so Hali left her marked as an unkown. Yet, knowing that at least two of the wolves did not belong, she didn't go rushing at them. Instead, she shuffled up to them as the adult vampire asked a question of the youth beside him. Halibel's mind instantly sprang an answer to the forefront of her thoughts and while the rest of her brain tried to work out the bloody, sleeping female and the varying scents on all three of the wolves, her voice, quiet and smooth, slipped out in reply.

"My lady is currently dealing with a challenger. And yes, you are intruding, but I suppose it can be forgiven since you were playing savior. Come, she may rest in the clearing, not far from here."

Nearly clear blue eyes focused on the wolf, who's name she had missed. Halibel had a love for knowledge and puzzles, but she also had priorites and an injured lass seemed to be more important than retrieving the brute's name. Her skull craned on her neck to look back over her shoulder as she began to pad further in land, she left it entirely up to Haruka to manage the injured female. Her gaze looked down at the pup who seemed rather misplaced yet very controlling with the tone she'd managed to gather from him as she had approached earlier. He was a bit more of a confusion in her books, making her very unusre of why he was in the wrong pack lands. Nosing him on the top of the head, she inhaled deeply and noted the scent of Bright Moon before pointedly staring at him and asking.

"And what are you doing here, hmm? You're quite out of place too."
