The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

The day and scenery about him was beautiful indeed; a cool wind caressed his silky, crimson pelt, the birds sang harmoniously from the tall trees, the faintly worn trail which he walked on was emerald hued with the short stalks of grass that felt soft under his pads. The sunrise was a pink tinge on the pearly horizon that was beginning to cloud over, heralding that the rest of the morning, as well as the noon and evening, would not be too hot and would have cloud-cover that would keep the sun from causing the weather to be unpleasant. It would have been false to say that the startlingly-hued lad had not noticed these attributes, he paid his surroundings careful attention, as his flicking auditives and watchful near black gems showed.

Qui was young, only a pup by the standards of wolves, but he was alreadly becoming a small warrior. Each day his mind matured more and more, taking him one step closer to becoming the keen and cunning Satanican Prince that he would one day be. His body's development was also a steady thing. Although that did not seem nearly as dramatic as his mental growth, he was slowly transforming - legs lengthening, muzzle narrowing, ears seeming not quite as large for his petite skull as before. His outgoing nature and seemingly boundless energy conspired and forced him to be out and active seemingly constantly. Because of that, his chassi was beginning to be toned with lean, sinuous muscles. They would aid him greatly in his ultimate duty, which was to beat his sister, Cade, in every subject under the sun.

He had reunited with his mother, who, although not entirely pleased with him for disobeying her orders and straying from the battle-field, hadn't made a huge deal about it. Seline was a fair wolfess - Quirino held her in the highest respect. After resting for a few days and allowing his paw to heal to a reasonable degree, the handsome crimson-hued male had decided to take a trot around the borders. He had paused to sniff and draw in the odor of each and every warrior in his mother's pack. Besides the faint perfumes of his family, he smelled a few unknown she and he wolves. He supposed he would meet them soon, and wasn't too anxious about not knowing them. The little brat was content in his superiority...

The scent of a wolf he was unfamiliar with caused the young wolf to stop for a moment and reflect before turning his limber stilts in that general direction. He was only a pup, but he was an alpha pup - and that had to mean something, right? Even if it didn't mean anything, he was somewhat determined to make to make it seem like it did. After a few moments of trotting, the chibi came into sight of a pretty tan bellatrix. She was behaving in a way that could qualify as submissive, so the draco was empowered enough to take the dominant role, despite his small size. He'd seen the older wolves within his family display dominant postures enough that he knew how to do it. Qui allowed his eyes to bore intently into the lass. He held his tail stiff and his head high. His ears perked forward, delicately taking in the sounds of the forest around him.

He came to a stop a daring few feet away from the wolfess and spoke, his youthful voice languid and calm. "My name is Quirino. Now, I'm hardly one of the official big-wigs around here, but since you are on the wrong side of the border to be making any judgments, please submit."
