The passionate fires of Paduan that burned within his veins raged with an agonizing loss he had never before felt in his life as he races head long into the breaking dawn; it was as if he had lost his own heart or was preparing to lose just that. She had crossed his mind several times over the last months as he had wondered whether it was all worth it; would rebuilding his herd worth the chance that he would not have his lover at his side; would the renewed romance between her and her long time on and off lover Eclipse be set in stone and was it worth it to him to step in where he was apparently not even a memory. No, he had loved her to much to out her into a position that may make her heart tare in two or cause her discomfort, but as worry, fear and unrest settled over him he had decided that he needed to find her, that he would risk anything to make sure that what he feared was not what was to come for the maiden that had captured him heart and soul.

Racing headlong into the Valkyrie jungle Sinner pays little heed to the fact that should the warrior priestess’s so choose they could command him to remain as their slave and without a home or herd to belong to there was little chance that he would ever be able to disentangle himself from the humid home; especially since he is no fighter when there is no threat to those he loves. Dodging vines, clearing fallen trees and bursting through overgrown umbrella leaves Sinner remains on the alert, listening for anything that might clue him in to the ware about’s of his beloved Anhk. He knew she would be here, it was simple deduction and his deep seated knowledge of her that had allowed him to deduce such a fact without the sight of Elyria. She was a Valkyrie at heart and he had always given her leave to come and go between the two as she wished; she had left him once to return here, had left him when they had dissipated and it stood to reason that now that they were once again reformed she would have come back here to see that they succeeded in their resurrection.

The sound of screaming feline, raging equine and the anxious cry of another draw him in the general direction of the catastrophe; the fear and unrest that had fueled him into seeking out his angel growing all the stronger for the chaos that seemed to now be rocking the jungle. A flash of movement among the emerald stands of growth pulls Sinner to the left, his pace changing from a brisk lope to a quick, high stepping walk as the scent of blood fills his nostrils and the sound of voices fills his raven ears.

Stepping into the clearing the brilliant light of day glints off of the high lather that had developed over his deep roan markings, tuning his raven points as deep a black as had ever been seen before and his usually soft dove grey to nearly black. His dark mahogany eyes passing over the tattered form of Eclipse as he sees his beloved laying out. A slight foal struggling to free itself from the entrapment of it’s mother. His steps never falter as he moves toward her, his focus so intent upon the love of his life that he does not acknowledge the presence of Cortana and steps around the crouching Primonette to drop to the blood soaked ground on the other side of Ankh. Laying his head over her shoulder and tucking her into his chest as best he could; tears slipping from his dark eyes as he scents the slipping of her life force as it trickles from her. As he breathing becomes all the more shallow he looks to Cortana without lifting his head. His voice racked with pain, agony and confusion as he fights to make himself heard. “She is the mother of my children and the keeper of my heart, has no one among you thought to call for a northern queen? For Solaris, Ophelia or Arianah? Has no one thought to call for Tia or for Galadriel herself?” his tones are pleading as his mind races over how it was possible for the one herd Ankh had loved more than her companions was unable to help her in her time of need, was unable to think past those who meant something to their herds survival to ensure the survival of one of their own when it was becoming painfully obvious that they were not equipped to handle this kind of situation.

As his question is not immediately answered his eyes flit from Cortana to the limp form of Eclipse. How could they live here with the plethora of feril predators and not have a single healer among them?
